I used to live at those Oakwood apartments for a few months back in the early-90s. Mainly, I hope the Bob's Big Boy down the street is still there and remains safe. Used to love its beautiful datedness.

Someone dumped a stolen vehicle behind the Oakwood Apts and lit it on fire...that is what caused this mess. The Bobs Big Boy is safe.

Reporting in from the West L.A. area, nr La Cienega. When I went outside at lunch break, saw the huge column of smoke to the north, kept walking and got in position to see it was rising from behind the Hollywood Hills.
This is a huge cloud of brown smoke rising straight up and blowing ESE...
