White House Criticizes Pelosi's Trip to Syria March 30, 2007
ABC News' Jonathan Karl Reports: At today's White House briefing, Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino strongly criticized Pelosi's planned visit Syria, saying, "We think it is a really bad idea."
"People should take a stop back and think about the message it sends and the message it sends to our allies," Perino added.
Perino said she did not know if anybody in the administration had spoken directly to Pelosi to discourage the trip.

I just wanted to let you all know...
Maddie Albright was on Hairball tonight..and she said it was a great idea for Pelosi to go to Syria...

Why would he want to even meet with a low-level speaker of the house who has no power to give him anything he wants?
She has no power, and, whether she believes it or not, she is not the one deciding our war plans and who we talk to.
Hell, Bush should have selected her to be WH spokesperson from the get-go.
Before you have her executed, you might want to check out the people she is traveling with. I know that she is traveling with at least one republican representative and I am pretty sure there is also a republican from Alabama with her. He was on Fox not long ago, explaining the reasons for his trip. Not that I have much respect for Pelosi, but there are many US representatives, senators and representatives of the white house that have visited Syria recently.

WHOA.....Bill O'Reilly just went OFF on this woman..a Retired Army ...who taught Geneva Convention rules at some military base..
He wanted to talk about Iran's breaking the GC rules by showing the Brits...
BUT, she kept talking about how bad the USA has been treating our prisoners..and basically what goes around comes around...and she said she couldn't comment until she found out if the Brits are telling the TRUTH about being in the Iraq part of the water.
WELL>..BOR said, "well then it is all America's fault, right?"...and she started to answer about Gitmo...and he went ballistic and then SHE said...
"I served my country for 29 years, Bill..how much time have YOU served?"....OOOPS..Bill had her mic cut off..and just went on a RANT.

I wouldn't worry too much if she wasn't a representative of America via proxy.
Saw a survey just yesterday. 90% of the military is Republican or conservative. The remaining 10% are the ones who are deserting or going UA.
