IOWs Dobson's been ignored.
Being a Christian is not and never has been a requirement for political office in this country. If that is your criteria then please do the country a favor and don't vote -- ever again.
I'd be happier if Jackson and Dobson has destructed each other.
So Dobson would presumably prefer Newt Gingrich--who spent his career womanizing, and then conveniently "repents" to Dobson just before embarking on a Presidential campaign? THAT is a sincere "Christian"? Give me a break.
BAhahahaha! :)
I dont understand this. I wouldnt vote for Newt if he was the last pubbie on earth. I cant imagine dobson doing this. People lie about Dobson all the time. I hope this is one of them
Actually, Thompson's real name was Tomkinsky, and he is the son of a Polish rabbi.
I prefer those who live Christian to those who talk Christian.
This is all Dobsons got? An empty accusation?
From the above article:
Focus on Family spokesman Gary Schneeberger sought to clarify Dobsons statement, telling Gilgoff that while Dobson didnt believe Thompson belonged to a non-Christian faith, he "has never known Thompson to be a committed Christian someone who openly talks about his faith.
"We use that word Christian to refer to people who are evangelical Christians. Dobson wasnt expressing a personal opinion about his reaction to a Thompson candidacy.
Does anyone REALLY care what the old fool has to say? Who died and left him in charge?
I keep remembering something about "Judge not lest ye be judged"
This thread is interesting and I think it requires a translation of Dobson's remarks:
I believe Mr. Dobson was trying to say that Fred Thomson is a "CHINO" and that would be CHristian In Name Only. I don't know Fred Thomson to comment further.
This is a must read. See

jellybean's link to Fred Thompson's thoughts on the Asia fundraising scandal and more at this post.
Look its Super Christian! Hey let see how far you can throw the first stone?
Lol! well said...
Sounds like Dobson has converted to the Robertsonian faith. The Republican Party needs to firmly dissociate itself from Dobson and his ilk.
I don't need Dobson to tell me who's a Christian or not...his personal opinion of Thompson means nothing to me.
Assessing someone else's 'christianity' is pompous, arrogant and judgemental.
How did they know they were "white" evangelicals? Did they research the family histories of a representative sample of such voters?
Fred, on the other hand, doesn't need to kiss Dobson's butt because he lacks most of those moral failings.
