Still hope for Republicans in 2008. Best thing might be Hillary as Democratic presidential candidate.
Barring that, maybe Rosie O'Donnell will run.

The point is that Hillary would lose, not that a Republican candidate would be win. It's all 'vote repulsion' on the part of Hillary.

Which means that 50 percent might vote for her.

When the choice comes down to an R or a D.....her minions will vote for her.
Take no comfort in these numbers.

I just want to see the ones that will vote for her
with 'Hillary' bumper stickers on their cars,
laughter will consume the moment.

Over 50% of adults didn't vote for Bill Clinton and Dubya, either.

You hit the nail on the head. There are too many just plain, stupid people out there. The dumbing down of America is pretty complete.

If there is any truth to these numbers, then the incessant chant that a candidate like Rudy Giuliani -- who is conservative on about 1 out of every 4 issues -- is "the only one to stop Hillary" is idiotic to the point of being pathological.

The poll...revealed strong, negative opinions of the New York senator.... Uh, "strong, negative opinions" is a bit of an understatement. Does the term "broken glass Republican" mean anything (as in "I'd crawl over broken glass to prevent X from getting elected").
To: Apolitical
To paraphrase Stalin, it does not matter how many people vote, but who counts the ballots. Hillary would be the most polarising president since Lincoln, and we know what the reaction was to his election.

Be afraid of the power of very stupid people in very large groups. I caught an installment of "Jaywalking" Jay Leno's show on TV last night. One idiot didn't know anything...yet even she was able to remember that Hillary was running for President. That gave me a little bit of a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Remember many Democratic voters are either dead or brain dead.

Doesn't matter. She's still going to pull the wool over many peoples eyes. And she has the House tiebreaker as well.
