Slovakia to reject Kosovo's independence

Bratislava, March 27 (CTK) - The governing coalition of Slovakia will push through the declaration in the parliament that will reject Kosovo's independence as a resolution to the effect was passed by the parliamentary foreign committee.

The resolution says that Kosovo's full independence would not give stability to the Balkans.

However, the opposition Slovak Democratic and Christian Union-Democratic Party (SDKU-DS) says that the text admits the declaration of Kosovo's independence.

The parliament may probably end a lengthy debate on Slovakia's position on the future of the South Serbian province. The debate has led to the drafting of five various versions of the declaration with which the deputies wanted to comment on Martti Ahtisaari's plan in Kosovo.

The latest draft is only supported by the coalition parties, while the opposition is against it.

The question is why United States supports Islamofascist terrorists in Kosovo and is bent on stealing Serbian land and giving it to them on a platter.

Slovakia has broken the code of silence in EU, others will follow (Cyprus, Greece, Romania). EU can not act unilaterally on this issue any more.

In UN Security Council, Russia and China are strongly against U.S. policy of pushing Kosovo independence. Even Indonesia is against it.

The only logical explanation is that Kosovo is deliberately created as a flashpoint for a large scale war.

That is, I wonder if the situations with, oh say, South Ossetia, Chechnya, and Taiwan have anything to do with Russia's and China's decision making processes.

In other words, giving Kosovo independence sets a bad precedence.

Slovakia has 10% of its territory inhabited by Hungarian minority. The fear of loosing that land due to the Kosovo precedent is the main motive..
