Steve Forbes, former Republican presidential candidate, President and Chief Executive Officer of Forbes, and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes magazine has endorsed Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States. Mr. Forbes will serve as a National Campaign Co-Chair and Senior Policy Advisor:
I am honored to support Rudy Giuliani for President, Steve Forbes said. As Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani showed how exercising fiscal discipline including tax cuts lowers deficits, spurs economic growth, and increases revenue. It is time the rest of the country benefit from a true fiscal conservative leader who gets real results.
Steve and I share an economic vision that embraces supply-side economics, tax relief, and spending restraint, said Mayor Giuliani. I look forward to working with Steve and am proud to have him as a member of our team.
Nice addition, as those of us who value economic liberty certainly look to Mr. Forbes as a leader on that front.
And FWIW, I really was away ( will be going away, AGAIN, in a few weeks ), so when I'm not here, you have now been apprised of the fact that it's of my own volition and not due to anything untoward.
Daily, maybe even hourly.
The situation will be rectified within the next week. Watch for the wholesale slaughter!
I'll be here till 4/11 and then it's Mrytle Beach baby!!!!!!
You lost a bet with me, and won't admit it. That's a lie! ;)
What was the bet?
When the good ship 'Rudy-Pop' goes down, watch for the scurrying little rats to jump ship and swim for the nearest "safe bet".
Oh yes, Rudy "knew" that he couldn't beat Hillary, so he gave himself prostate cancer! /s
If Hunter "is a much better representative of Republican values...................", than the GOP is in terrible trouble! This is 2007; not the 1930s and protectionism has long ago been jettisoned from GOP tenents.
And BTW, Hunter couldn't beat Edwards; let alone Hillary!
Steve's never been a social conservative nor a fiscal conservative as he really doesn't care about deficit spending. He's a supply-sider just like Kemp. Single issue guys.
Most are already there. The's even some "hungarian girl."
It's clearly an anti-freep site, with many Clown Posse members and perma-banned freepers, several of whom have tried hard in the last month to get me suspended. A cute little spot for the rudytooters to coordinate attacks.
LOL. A picture paints a thousand words.
I bet nopardons that is was not an fr 'rule' that you must ping someone if you are discussing them. Yeah, it's a commmon courtesy, but no rule, and she could never back it up. I bet her a $10 donation to FR. She refuses to pay.
"He's obviously a whole lot more intelligent than you are."
And you are slow on your cranial activity if there is anything there.
I have 11 lawyers in my family not to mention friends. I am not impressed by Mr. Olson.
Sorry, I said there were 11 lawyers in the family. I missed two others. Now it is up to 13.
And BTW, Hunter couldn't beat Edwards; let alone Hillary!
Another opinion. As useful as a poll.
As for his prostate cancer, it didn't stop him from being Mayor, going to all those sporting events and fundraisers, or even slow down his, shall we say, dalliances.
And for the record, I almost died from leukemia, so pardon me if I don't get all misty about his seeds in the prostate treatment. Try intensive radiation and chemotherapy and then get back to me.
Shakespeare had it right. :)
Like the one where he raised money for a militant gay group with ties to an anit-war communist group.
"Like you knew either one of them, dullard. I don't suppose you have any pedigree (other than ankle-biter) to slander General Olson with your nattering?"
No, just your obvious lack of intelligence, breeding, and culture.
