While that's a good combination with Fred Thompson/J.C. Watts, I would prefer to seriously put California into play by having a Fred Thompson/Duncan Hunter '08 Presidential ticket. I also wouldn't count out the possibility of having either a Fred Thompson/Michael Steele Presidential ticket or a Fred Thompson/Herman Cain Presidential ticket as other possibilities. There are plenty of other possibilities out there which would also make decent '08 GOP Presidential tickets.
If Duncan Hunter could put California in play, he would be worth his weight in gold!
Still, I would like to see J.C. Watts on the ticket. It would be nothing short of revolutionary and historic. And it would mark and end to the Libs being able to call Conservatives and Republicans "racist" and get away with it.
Hunter or Watts as VP to Thompson would be pretty cool ticket.
Anyways, I feel better now that things seem to be brightening up some with these kinds of names being thrown around.
My greatest fear is that the democrats run a southern governor. Carter and Clinton both were souther goovernors.
Senators have not exactly a good track record in modern times winning the white house.
Of course Perot basically put Clinton in office.
