Last night we had a fine time speculating as to whether the photo on the left, shown on the ANSWER web site, is genuine... or a Photoshop job.
The photo at the right, found on the UPI web site, has the street lights in the same place, but it has more detail and a better background, making it possible to try to piece together where the photos were taken.
I went out there today with my trusty camera and tried to find the same angle. I think we can say that the photo is most likely genuine.
At left is my shot of the same place, taken about three hours ago. BTW, the weather was much nicer today... I wasn't even wearing a jacket. Last week it was twenty frigging degrees and very windy, brrrr.
I have to say that the crowd size looks the same whether blurred or clear.
I'm not so sure about that, I've try to take long distance pictures with my cheap camera and I can tell you it is really hard to get the right exact focus with a big telephoto lens. Also you would be amazed at the heat waves that a camera may catch off the pavement even on a cold day.
I don't know the picture may be doctored on purpose, but it is really hard to tell on some picture taken off of some web site that has probably been compressed considerably from the original to fit the web space etc.
I assume the picture was taken with a digital SLR or something like that and if they put the original picture on a web space you would have to scroll up and down and left and right all day just to see the picture. When compressed down to size for the web space a lot of the pixels are probably eliminated thus making it look like it was doctored.
Apparently someone thought I was suggesting something unpleasant for our domestic enemies.
just wonderin'.......if they want a picture to show more numbers..why not from the middle of the road, instead of in grass area?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
T'was not me who reported your post but the question still remains....
and an added Q
are you trying to make our enemies happy?
Times are changing, the USA will soon not be able to afford the luxury of a known enemy within operating unfettered.
Yes, that grassy spot is in an inconvenient spot, isn't it?
Good catch!
Something is bothering me about the posture of some the protestors, starting with the woman in the white headband. They have their heads turned to (our) left, as if they are looking at something in that direction. The other protestors are looking ahead. It just seems out of place. They look more like they are standing and looking at (or waiting for) something, not walking.
Hmmm.
Now I know it's real - the traitors are going the wrong way on that road.
You provedit to me, I dont remember those church spires, but you showed me! :)
LOL! (#32) Yeah, that's it... that's the ticket... ;-)
Wow, you do great work, Nick! Fair enough... thanks for putting an end to this debate.
Nicely done!
This may be of interest...
