Sounds like a great trade to me.
I'm sure we could get some Georgia peanut farmers to throw in some peanuts to sweeten the deal.

Oh Hell yes. Scrappleface or not, this is a great idea.
As I've suggested in the past, SEND Jimmy Carter as an envoy to negotiate with Tehran, and then just as he's stepping off the plane in Iran, the White House announces there is ABSOLUTELY NO BASIS for the accusation that Carter was a paid agent of the Shah's SAVAK secret service.
Nope, absolutely no way that could have been, Carter had nothing to do with SAVAK, no, nothing at all.
In fact, if the mullahs were to interrogate Jimmy, they would find that out for themselves. ;)

Circa 1998. President Clinton steps off of Air Force One at Andrews Air Force base. Under each are he had a pig. The Marine Sergent saluted the President and then asked him why he had a pig under each arm. President Clinton told the Marine, "these are not ordinary pigs but genuine Arkansas Razorbacks. I got one for Hillary and one for Chelsea"
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted smartly and said, GOOD TRADE MR. PRESIDENT, GOOD TRADE."

So we turn Jimmy over to them and they refuse to give us the Britons. Oh well, we haven't really lost anything, it was worth the try.
