Tony's doctors have detected a growth of some kind. He will have surgery on Monday. They are not saying that this is or is not cancer. Please be so kind as to offer your prayers, your support for this good man.
hey D...always a pleasure to see our "Payroll Diva"....
It's a pleasure to be seen! ;>) Still remember Tony telling us to get a room when our comedy routine went into overdrive!! ;>)

Hey, my Mom's had thyroid cancer (42), colon cancer (62), breast cancer (75)and colon cancer again(80). We've just bought her a treadmill--ANYTHING'S possible!!!
Positive thinking is 95% of the battle, the rest is out of our hands.
LOL!! God bless her! I bet "spunky" doesn't even begin to describe her. :-)
ROFL...I remember...
NOPE! not even close She's smarter than I'll ever dream of being--I've seen the incredible power of positive thinking and brains with prayer thrown in...Tony WILL beat this!
Holy Smoke, Batman! She's a tough little lady! Mrs S has beaten breast cancer twice, thank G-d and you're absolutely correct about positive thinking. No question about it.
I don't know if it's positive thinking or New England stubborness--but here's praying Tony has both!
Thank you, Carolinamom!
Good Lord I hope so too.
Prayers up for Tony.
Thank you, dinasour! That's very helpful.
:-) Thanks, Wolfstar! I agree that it was worth seeing twice.
I just went over to DU to see how they are handling this and actually they are being pretty respectful at least at the one thread I went too. They have a few going but did not want to spend too much time over there. I was pretty happy to see they were being nice to Tony.
Dear Tony, I heard the news this morning. Please read this!
I just went through this with a best friend a few years back. She was even younger than you, 41, when she was diagnosed with liver cancer. The prognosis they gave her was 3-6 months. Well, she enrolled in a study where one of the chemicals was octriotide (sp?) and she pulled out 4 years from then on. Many of the years were FULL, with golfing and traveling and being with her family. She was able to make the absolute most of it. In the end it was a secondary infection in her digestive tract that got her. If they could have found out about that sooner, she might still be here.
As a Jew I pray for a complete healing of course for you, and that is what we all want. I did want to tell you about my friend, though, because we feel those years with her were miraculous and so did she, after that grim prognosis. May you receive a full healing, Tony.
You know, I just realized sumptin!
With the "blizzard" of prayers for Tony being directed to the heavens....... we "The Snowflakes" just might stop this "Global Warming" nonsense!
