Tony's doctors have detected a growth of some kind. He will have surgery on Monday. They are not saying that this is or is not cancer. Please be so kind as to offer your prayers, your support for this good man.

Hey, I have been off thread. [will retrace later] Just had a very nice conversation with Griff Jenkins, Tony's radio show producer, aka "Surfer-Boy". Griff is every bit as upbeat as Tony. He is also very likely to have a short piece on Tony during John Gibson's FNC TV show between 5-6pm EST.

Griff helped pull me out of the great sadness that overcame me and reminded me of the many advances in medical technology. I do miss the antics of "Surfer-Boy" on the Tony Snow Show. Actually, I miss it all.

I sure do miss the snow-flake threads too. Even when I couldn't listen as much as before, I'd check in on the thread and find great company.

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear upbeat news. We Snowflakes are a pretty tough crowd, as is our leader! Just know Tony will be able to handle this. After David Gregory and his ilk, this will be a walk in the park.

saw Griff for the first time on Gibbie's The Big Show last week. He was pretty darn good. Learned from the Snowman.

Glad to hear that those closest to Tony, and Tony himself are so upbeat. What a class act he is.

Thanks for that. I miss the show and our thread, too. I am trying to hold it together (since I'm at work) and try to stay upbeat as well. Something tells me Tony would tell us to stop being so sad! :-)
