President Bush Welcomed Prime Minister Clark of New Zealand to the White House and met with her in the Oval Office. The text of their remarks can be found HERE.
Today is the "traditional" FIRST DAY of SRING. In celebration of Spring, two photos from 2006.
Pink Laura Bush tulips bloom in the East Garden. The tulip was named in the First Ladys honor April 22, 2004.
Miss Beazley and Barney tip toe through the tulips in the East Garden of the White House.

Even aside from the sexy legs, I have to appreciate a woman of power who still wears skirts as often as Condi does. I really dislike the heavy trend toward pantsuits among women in public life. Maybe I'll get skewered for saying this, but they just aren't ladylike.
