Today is the "traditional" FIRST DAY of SRING. In celebration of Spring, two photos from 2006.

Mine are industrial with steel cap toes I doubt if you would want that grade but you can get mock ones in Britain so I expect you can also in the US. I suspect somewhere like Kmart would have them.

I bought a pair of steel-toed work boots a few year ago. They're made by a company called Wolverine. They cost $100 US at the time, but they're well worth it. They fit right above the ankle and are very comfortable to wear even all day when I am working outside.

I'll wager you're right. Maybe I shouldn't say this, but it really irks me when some of the men post about it -- men I think have issues with women. I can't read their minds, but I think it's more about controlling women, than anything else. I am speaking only of "certain" male posters.

Yes, we hope to tour the WH and the Senate. I'm just thrilled to be going. I haven't seen Washington, D.C. since I was age five...lol.

Our local supermarket ASDA is owned by Walmart LOL so I can say I have been in a Walmart :o).

Oh, there is NO doubt that some of these 'men' have issues with women..........and they don't hide it very well.

I am SO tempted to say all sorts of things to them, but my upbringing and faith keep me from saying them.

Let's put it this way.........if they were secure in their own masculinity (like the President is), they wouldn't have the 'issues' they have with intelligent, strong women.

I think many of them are very weak and insecure and cover it up with bluster and downright meanness.

Site traffic at FR is down for a reason . . . A LOT of rational Freepers have left; disgusted with the constant Bush-bashing and nonstop negativity!

HOWEVER, I strongly believe we DOSERs must remain steadfast in our efforts to support the President and his team . . . We KNOW they read the DOSE and, for this reason alone, we must maintain remain positive and COMMITTED to the 'lifting up' of our President for the next 22 months!

I think so. They have sizing charts. I avoid the "skinny jeans" and "special edition" stuff.

My size has been the same size since I was in high school many moons ago.

My size is the hardest one to find.

George is the brand name for their clothes and we understood that was one of the reasons Walmart wanted them to us this name for the clothes they sell in the States.

I just wondered if that was just a rumour or whether they do market the clothes as George now in the US.

Me too. :) Sometimes I get a little overanxious but I do still love our President. He's the reason I'm a Republican.
