(IsraelNN.com) More than 7,000 French Jews have signed a petition asking for political asylum in the United States because of anti-Semitism in France. The petition makes pointed reference to the murder of Ilan Halimi, a 23-year-old Parisian Jew who was kidnapped and tortured to death last year by an anti-Semitic gang, and says that "following the barbarous murder of a young Jew because he was Jewish, in the context of the rise in anti-Semitic acts committed by Islamic fundamentalists, numerous members of the community no longer feel safe in France."
The petition was sent to the U.S. Congress and asks it to enact a law according French Jews refugee status.
Some French Jewish leaders were outraged: "This petition is bizarre, stupid and out of place," said Chaim Musicant, director of CRIF, the umbrella organization of secular French Jewish groups.
No more silence!!
History will, most likely, repeat itself in this case.
Many politicians talk the talk, but when forced to commit... simply chicken out.
(And France can pony up more moola than those 7,000 Jews.)
Why does it matter to you?
Should America turn away all refugees simply because there is another country in the world with their ethnicity as a population group?
IE - no Germans should be allowed to imigrate to America... after all, that's what Germany is for! Or Italy, or Poland, or India, etc, etc, etc.
This administration allows Muslims and Mexicans into America without limits, so they better do the right thing and allow the Jews. Jews are civilized and contribute a lot to society, and that's the kind of people we need to allow into America!

That is a decision for the executive branch, and if Bush orders Chertoff to deny them all asylum, that will be that . . . for a while. Then the appeals, first to the Board of Immigration Appeals (part of Justice, again Exec. branch), and then to the various US Cts. of Appeals . . . . (Years will pass).
Guys, are you totally unfamiliar with the concept of "visa-overstay"?
Not sure they are "overstays" yet.
Too soon to tell whether, if they file asylum applications (and each person over 18 has to have one filed for him/herself), they might be adjudicated one by one each on its merits, or there may simply be an order from "on high" saying "no asylum for Jews from France" (see post 106). T
Also, they stop accruing "unlawful presence in the US" from the time the asylum application is filed until it is finally decided (and with 2 levels of appeals, that can take YEARS).
Yes, but these are secular organizations, whos members do their best to "blend in" with the non-Jews. Unfortunately, once sharia law takes effect, just because they're not observant, it won't matter.
Don't forget, most of Germany's Jews believed that they were Germans first, and Jews second (or even further down the list). They didn't understand why the NAZIs hated them, since they were "good Germans."

France, it seems to me, is looking to appease the radicals and run off its educated. Let me see, keep the uneducated trouble makers or the educated Jews that can help the country grow. Oh the French do have hard decisions to make. And the French consider themselves to the upper crust of the world...oh please!
France is already rapidly falling into a abyss. If it loses its Jews, that's the end of France as a civilized, viable nation. Spain thrived when it had Jews - the period even today is known as the Golden Age of Spain. No Jews, no golden age. Same for the U.S. and every country where there are Jews allowed to contribute to the well being of the country. Many countries learn nothing from history.

We also need to address strict enforcement at all borders and stop the flow of illegals.
We as a society have far too many murders and other crimes and scams,even if mostly committed by our own native born population,it is absurd to keep inviting more and more people to join us in our own disordered state. It is a travesty and a disservice to U.S. citizens as well as to those seeking refuge,legally or illegally,to permit any more people in until we clean up our own house.
We are becoming contemptuous of one another and will not be able to stand much longer. That would be a tragedy and signal the end of western civilization,how sad.
I welcome them too. These refuges will know the true stench of Muslims; like new converts, they will dare to speak the Truth until it is heard.
Do they have to get France's OK? to leave France? That's like petitioning the school district to let your kid out so they can go to a better school.
No doubt you're right. How else are they going to totally destroy the middle class. The globalists want two classes of people. The ultra wealthy elitists and the working class poor. That's why they don't want any educated, civilized people to immigrate to America.
How do you propose that we address dual citizenship?
Well, they did not help them during WWII why would they help them now.

The difference is that Germany, Italy, Poland, and India are not desperate for soldiers to help defend their country. Israel has all its citizens, men and women, serve in the military to keep the muslims from taking over. The French Jews are choosing to dodge the Israeli Army draft - does the U.S. need more draft dodgers from France? One draft dodger, Bill Clinton, was enough, IMO.
If I had the resources I would have them stay with me. There own country has abandoned them. I am so sick of people picking on the Jews they are not the problem but Muslims are the reason.
If I hear about Muslims that are against what is going on I will puke. Islam is a religion of terror against christians and jews.
