I always regarded Tancredo as a fringe, Kucinich like candidate. This just affirms the fact that he can't raise any money, and now, just capsized his own campaign.

A question... does the congress have the legal right to demand that white house advisors testify under oath?

I do not know, and am wondering if Judge Napolitano is correct. While there may be a tradition that they do not, I am wondering if there is a law about it that hasn't been enforced in the past.

Chuckie said that "if Rove and Miers have nothing to hide, they why won't they testify under oath, and in public".

If Pres. Bush wants to make this right...then he should HAVE them testify under oath and in public.

blah, blah, cry , cry.

I'll tell ya what: the phone lines and Blackberries had better be burning up tonight with McConnell, Sessions, Hastert, Boehner calling their colleagues and laying down the law.

If they think that W's support and links to $$ won't matter for '08 and their re-elections, they're DEAD wrong.. and they'd best shape up and step up to the plate in supporting this WH.

((On another note, I did hear on Chrissy's show on Sunday, I think, that there were rumors that perhaps 10 pubbies would not be running for re-election. Anyone else have any news on that ?? ))

Well, Chuck, the same can be said for Sandy Berger, eh?

"Tancredo says this admin is imploding.."

Thanks for the help, Tom. We know you don't like Mexicans and you don't like Gonzalez, but you ought to be smart enough to keep your mouth shut once in awhile.

It is time for those of us who have been called traitors on this forum because we are not 'pure' enough conservatively to fight back and not let these one issue people take this country to hell.

Yes it is and I mean it: I do not care who I have to vote for. The GOP nominee gets my vote and my support.

Right now, the democrats want the win more than the GOP and I find that totally disgusting. Let the damn purists go third party now. Most are Bush haters so let them support Tancredo. I'm sick of the blackmail wing.

You're right about Tancredo; he's a one-trick pony.

He should definitely pardon the 2 border control agents, ut he can not pardon Libby, because Libby has not been sentenced yet. also their is the Appeal issue.. If he does then it would be best to wait until January 20, 2009

I put nothing past Tancredo, but he IS AS WE KNOW APOPLECTIC over the Immigration issue, so it's entirely possible he meant that word and not impeachment.

Could the "I" word have been "immigration"???

I think so. Tancredo is a Johnny One Note.

If so, why would John Gibson not want to say the word???

Probably because Gibson thought he was being witty and erudite.

This just affirms the fact that he can't raise any money, and now, just capsized his own campaign.

Tancredo's campaign sank below the surface when he called Miami a third world country. With that comment, he just kissed off the entire state of Florida.

I hope you're right, Starwise. Somebody on our side of the aisle had better whip these guys into shape because they are absolutely floundering right now and it's darned embarrassing.

Yeah --- the "I" word is probably immigration. I wish Gibson would have just said "immigration." It's still unclear.

Please see my post #513

I was listening to Tancredo...Schumer at the same time.

I posted what I HEARD in post #513...so my speculation may have been off.

However, I posted on another post what Tancredo said about the Administration imploding..and not know who is running it..and something about someone needing a pilot's license...

IOW, Tancredo was HARD to follow tonight..and I apologize if I got any of you upset for nothing.

If Tancredo meant "immigration" instead of "impeachment", I was wrong...I just wonder why Gibson wouldn't say immigration...and I DO know I read that Rohrbacher is talking about impeachment over the two border guards.

I am VERY sorry if I got it wrong...

I'll break my own vow to myself and take to slamming a GOP candidate if he's talking impeachment.
