NO...he isn't backing down.

He will let AG and his staff testify..and he is releasing all communications between the White House and Justice dept.

He will NOT let Rove, Miers and others on his staff be sworn in....just interviewed.

If the Dems want MORE...he won't let it happen.

Ugh...Judge Napalitano..just said that Bush CAN'T keep Rove and them from having to submit to subpoenas...even if it goes to the Supreme Court..

The President has now done exactly what he should have done long ago....See...this is a Bush trait...waiting until damage has been done before taking positive action.

Personally, I wish he had fired all the left over Clinton AGs when he took office.

It is a good thing that he has "finally" publicly supported the AG.
