Why are you wasting time and energy telling us? You need to communicate your feelings to the White House, so they can act, forthwith, to accommodate your demands.

Ditto... That is exactly what I was thinking. I just posted it in post 180 before I read yours. I am glad I am not the only Conservative thinking this way.. Thanks!
To: OneWayOut
I said that in response to the possibility that Gonzales was resigning. If Bush caved on this, he would be the lamest of lame ducks. Better to worry about future political prospects than about the prospects for the Bush Administration.

I'll say it...he has NO BALLS! I am so unbelievably tired of this particular criticism. You can accuse him of being too liberal. You can accuse him of being soft on illegal immigration. You can accuse him of being to civil to his political opponents. You can accuse him of trying to work with others, but you absolutely can NOT accuse this man of having no balls.
With his approval rating in the thirties, he has steadfastly kept his eye on the ball, conducted a GWOT (or whatever you want to call it), Refused to back down EVEN to the people in his own party and absolutely positively done what he thought was best for the country in the long run no matter what toll he is having to take personally.
If that is not the very definition of "balls" I don't know what is. A lesser man would be running around looking for ways to increase his personal approval ratings and handing out goodies to the constituents like every single one of our legislators in order to score short term points.
The President is not. You may disagree with what he has decided to do (and I have from time to time) but it has not been because he lacks the courage of his convictions.

Well, time to see what President Bush has to say. See you all again.
To: Cap Huff
Oh I see so if Bush does things I do not agree with I am suppose to remain silent about it?
Hell no will I go silent. I am tired of seeing what is happening in this country. BTW, with the exception of taxes, and the war I do not see much of a difference between the Republicans and Democrats.
Bush's insane Rules of Engagement in Iraq is enough for me to never vote for him again. Compound that with the boarders, the language, and the culture. Compound that with homosexual agenda that is now being pushed for the military. Oh and do not forget Bush will be going green too. I am sick of it!

Spite.. You seem to be full of rage. You might check out moveon.org or du. They are full of anger and will give you high fives.

We push back plenty. Ever watch a press briefing from the Whitehouse? We will NEVER score points in the press, we will only score points with results. Besides, why should the press "show us" a rallying point when we are so busy eating our own?
Have you noticed that we are "surging" and making enormous progress even though the other side tried to stop it through intimidation without having to take responsibility? And the press is trying to ignore it?
All I can say is that we need to quit spending time building our perception of reality based on anything you we in the press.

If Gonzales resigned, wouldn't any new AG have to be approved by Congress?

not implode to the Socialist and Communist as Bush has.
Bush has not changed. He's always been like this. It's called "compassionate conservatism."
To: JFC
Whatever... That is where you belong....
You obviously could not recognize a conservative if he bitch slapped and bull dozed you.
I guess you do not give a Rat's Ass that Bush allows our troops to get shot but Iranians... Prosecutes our troops for using too much force, and don't care about the boarders... Gotta go now..

Thank you, Sir! may I have another.

Well. LOL. You go with that theory then. There are just some perspectives that need to be left to speak for themselves.
That will do the trick. Good luck with it!
