Romney is not my first or second choice...
But if he is the ballot against the Hildabeast in November of '08, he'll happily get my vote.....

That I agree with. He doesn't stand a chance against Hillary.

No doubt about it - you are a fun person. I mean, Romney is funny enough - but add Quayle to that? LOL.

Some people here need to get real about this 2008 election.
As much as we like some of these candidates, they're simply not going to win...the nomination, let alone the general election.
Newt can't win.
Tancredo can't win.
Hunter can't win.
Brownback can't win. (is he even running?)
Huckabee can't win.
Whether we like it or not, Obama and Mrs. Bill Clinton have achieved huge status in this country. Beating them won't happen with a run-of-the-mill milquetoast candidate.

Quayle? Dan Quayle? Where has he been all these years, GHWB's VP? In training by the NWO?

He's not my choice either (LOL! But of course you know that) but whomever wins the nomination gets my vote and support regardless of who it is.

"DAN Quayle, who flies into New York one week a month from Indianapolis for his work with Cerberus"
I am almost certain Dan Quayle now lives in Paradise Valley, Az (exclusive section of Phoenix metro area-more upscale than mere Scottsdale).
So he wouldn't fly in from Indianapolis.

A milquetoast fop won't win against them. But, any one of those GOP you listed could do so, except for Tancredo. People keep acting as if name recognition at this point in time is all that matters, even though the primaries are a year away....
That being said, my choices are:
1) Fred Thompson
2) Duncan Hunter
3) Mitt Romney

One other thing...
Obama and Mrs. Bill Clinton have achieved huge status in this country.
Yes, as not having a chance in hell of winning.

I know he can't win and I knew it the minute he announced.
Americans have not elected a Senator since 1960 (for reasons we've all discussed), you think now they are going to jump over popular Senators--and other high-profile candidates--and elect a nondesript congressman?

Well, working with three-headed dogs is bad enough. Add to it having to do it in NYC. Cut the guy some slack.
