Would you vote for a Giuliani/Thompson ticket?

This makes sense to me, but what do you think? Would it ease the fears of the more conservative to have Thompson as veep? Since Fred was a Senator from Tennessee it makes sense to have a Southener paired up with a New Yorker. Rudy has a higher profile and is already high in the polls so he makes more sense as the Presidential canidate.

Reluctantly.
If it were flipped, much more enthusiastically.

My choices would be Thompson/Steele or Hunter/Steele or Thompson/Hunter

Thompson/Gingrich would work too.

Rudy has a higher profile and is already high in the polls so he makes more sense as the Presidential canidate. It only makes more sense if you want a liberal president. If this is what you want, vote Democrat.
Vice presidents are only valuable as (possible) vote getters and as aids to the president. I would strongly support Thompson for president and he can have whoever he wants for VP.
To: jdsteel
Yes, with either guy as President.

I'd much rather vote for a Thompson (as Pres) ticket. Make Rudy head of Homeland Security or Solicitor General.

No. The VP does not make judicial nominations. I wouldn't even vote the ticket with the two men in reverse order, because it would make it easier for Rudy to win a nomination the next go around.

No way Fred would be 2nd fiddle. What if Fred drops into the race and goes to the top of the polls?

I will not vote for Giuliani & [anyone]
Or for Romney & [anyone]
The buck stops at the top of the ticket.

There is no way those two would ever run together...but, if they did, it would have to be Thompson/Giuliani for me to vote for the duo.
To: jdsteel
Since everyone is posting all possible combinations, how about Newt/Fred?
