Wise move and Welcome. I think they will be voting Republican.
Le Oy!
Pinging Israel news list
Let's hope they vote GOP but in any case I can't blame them for coming.
We're glad to have you!
They should. They are running out of places to run to.
Well then they're apparently smarter then the Jews in New York then !!!
I doubt the majority who go on to get citizenship, and then go on to vote, will vote Republican.
IF so I wish they would move to Palm Beach county instead of Miami Dade!
susie
Great news! It's about time. Similar to leaving Germany or Poland in 1936.
I don't know how long it will be before they're able to vote at all since they're here legally and have to follow rules which don't apply to others. I hope they'll vote conservative, too, but I still welcome them who are fleeing a coming muslim-led holocaust against them in Europe.
None the less I see little need, in general, for more immigrants. The USA has enough people, and I'm personally more interested in having lots of empty space than living in an India style ant-farm. Sure we COULD easily accomodate 1 billion Americans, but on a purely selfish level I don't want them here. So I will try to influence our gutless sellout Representatives to stop letting everyone move here who has some issue with their homeland.
As for their voting preferences the RIGHTWING party in France is more like the Democrats. The LEFTWING are out-and-out Socialists and proud of it. Jewish Americans vote overwhelmingly Democratic.
So perhaps they will vote Republican because they percieve the Republicans as being stronger against Islamofascism, but at the same time they will have to overcome a lot of the "Bush is Hitler" "Republicans are Fascists" political noise that is epidemic in Europe and France.
Get out while you still can - before the French put you on trains again.
don't bet on it.
That seems unlikely given that Chirac passes as a conservative in France.
I would say these newcomers will probably be voting Democrat according to the past history of their voting patterns. Correct me if I'm wrong.
You know I read the first paragraph and I was going to say how funny it is that the larger the religion of peace grows in that country, the more I hear reports of anti-Semitism....Then I read the second paragraph.
