A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Welcome to Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. For those who start counting the days on Monday until the weekend, we're halfway there! So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

Dita, I hope you feel better quickly!

I wish I could fulfill Billie's request for veggie soup from my freezer stock, but alas I only have veggie soup, no veggies in there.........'cause I sure don't think you want pepper soup made from habaneros!!!!

Hi, Tamar, such cute bears you posted! But I love the last picture best - the look on that kitty's face is priceless, snuggling up to its friend like that. :)

Thanks. Nothing beats teddy bears, panda bears, kitties and puppies. I guess that is why you called this thread "warm fuzzy". : )

LOL! Don't know about brave - I do love fresh vegetables, but I don't enjoy the work involved in growing them. Sure happy others do!

And yes, there are many of the frozen vegetables that are pretty darn good! I buy the Green Giant little nibblers corn on the cob, and like most of the frozen 'baby' vegetables - green beans, brussel sprouts, broccoli - better than the larger varieties. Just plain steamed is my favorite way to eat them, with a little bit of Jane's Crazy Salt sprinkled on them when done. No butter.

It is why. We have this thread every Wednesday and you'll always find the sweetest, cutest "awwwwwwww" pictures posted here on these threads. Hope you come back again - let us know if you'd like to be on the ping list.

No habaneros, no thank you anyway. Guess I'll just rummage around here for some ramen. *Grin* Back to bed.

I don't know...or maybe I do, because these cats are our barn kitties, and so on weekends the routine is different than during the school/work week. They show up at the door at very different times on weekends than they doo during the week.

Well, that shoots the theory all to pieces if they treat the weekends different than the work week!

Have never tried Trader Joe's Harvest Hodgepodge. Is it found with the regular spices? Will look for it.

Hope you got a little nap and feel better.

Oh, frozen veggies! I was thinking you meant a salt substitute like the Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt I mentioned! LOL!

I will look - do like to mix vegetables in the steamer, so that sounds like something we'd like, too.

Need to go to bed - hope you can sleep well tonight.

There aren't enough of them to keep warm but I remember when people used to pass these things around all the time. LOL!
