You're not reading before posting. He asked why they weren't put on the stand, not why they weren't put on trial. Apparently you are the one not reading. My post soley addressed why they were not put on the stand. I dont know where you are coming up anything about putting them on trial. READING IS OUR FRIEND. TRY IT, YOU MAY LIKE IT.
Apparently that door you refered to hit you in your head or was that your ass?

...Oh, I forgot George Will. He's a flaming liberal.

This whole thing reiterates my view that you must FIGHT liberals every step of the way---you cannot "work with them" or even side with them on ANYTHING. Wells thought that by portraying Libby as the victim of the devious Rove and Cheney, it would make him sympathetic. Right. He would have been so much better off to fight this as a political witch hunt from the get go and to paint Cheney and Rove as saints. Right on on that. I think they probably felt later that it didn't fly...

I agree with you, but the jury never heard any real evidence to back that story up, since Libby did not testify.
The case presented to the jury was that Libby didn't lie because all these other people lied instead.
And you had to believe they were lying simply by how they were cross-examined, because the defense didn't present anybody who SAID they were lying -- only Libby could do that, and Libby did not testify.
Now, of course we have Libby under oath saying those other people lied -- but those were the statements that got him in trouble, and Libby never took the stand to STAND BY those statements.

Plame was as covert as Britney's privates.
Not only was Plame not covert among the Washington crowd, neither were the cosmetic *upkeeps* she'd had done.
I hope "Crutches" Russert can sleep with himself.

Don't know her from Eve. But in this case, it's the obvious point to make.

I recall Bush telling everyone in his administration to tell the truth to the investigators because he wanted to know how the leak occured.Too bad our president and prosecutors are not as diligent in investigating and prosecuting leakers regarding our military and Homeland Security operations.

Keep this guy talking and we will have an Automatic Appeal! Exactly! Didn't he just say that he couldn't remember something - they just deliberated it with 34 pages of LARGE Post-it notes.

Are you guys aware that as a reporter and author Mr. Collins (the Gushing Juror) investigated at some level the workings of Dick Cheney's WH office?
Collins wrote a book "Behaving Badly" about the Enron affair, saying that Mr. Cheney was very receptive to Ken Lay in their WH meeting(page 101).
