Let the Democrats turn this country inside out.....
The General Public needs a good lesson in actually paying attention to the candidates they vote for!

Well that is really rich. Rush says the President needs congress. PFFFFFT. He did nothing to help that situation.
To: Howlin
someone REALLY needs to hear Judge Napolatano's opinion on Fox. He is exposing how these charges can be removed for the reason of disconnected logic point vs point of charge. Seems the not guilty exposes an intent to get and if terue is UNLAWFUL......needs work and exposure me thinks.

Harry Reid.."I welcome the verdict..it is about time that someone takes the blame for giving false statements to take US TO WAR!!!!" Dems are going to twist this every which way they can to score political points. Disgraceful. Nothing I hate more than dems being handed crap like this on a silver platter.

When will a Republican reclaim his balls and get on national television and just lay a smackdown on these people?

No, Libby was not off the hook no matter what Armitage or anyone else said. If I understand this right, Fitzy asks, say, "Do you have a marble in your pocket?" (answer: "Yes.") Question: "Did you talk to Tim Russert?" (answer: "No.") Fitzy produces evidence that he in fact told something to Russert. The nature of what he told Russert is irrelevant if he said he had not talked to Russert. Anyway, I'm basing this on what Rush is saying and what Andrew Napolitano was saying, that basically Libby was viewed as having lied about who he talked to, not WHAT HE TALKED about. It appears Libby got really bad legal advice here, and should have taken the stand.

All done without putting the Wilsons under oath too. Were they afraid of catching someone LYING?? Wilsons had nothing to do with what Libby was charged with. Totally separate issue.

The prosecution certainly did not make a credible case on the Russert or Cooper charges. Upon reading the testimony, there is no doubt in my mind that russert is a perjurer.

Libby didn't do anything. Bush needs to pardon this guy NOW because it's the right thing to do. Rats will scream and whine after the pardon but who cares, they scream and whine all day anyway.
An innocent man is going to jail and only President Bush can stop it.

I expect this idiocy to be overturned.

Napolitano said the trial judge would have to determine if the evidence was so flimsy and the jury was so confused for a new trial to be granted BUT that puts the judge in a bad light since he permitted them to deliberate. In short possibility of getting a new trial is slim. Appeal is next step, says Napolitano who earlier said since they found him guilty of 4 out of 5 counts a successful appeal is unlikely. Frankly Napolitano leaves me more confused than the jurors in the case.
