HA! Very clever!
The word "faggot" is not a vulgarity. Nor is the word "fag."
The words, F**k and Sh*t, are defined as vulgarities. Faggot and Fag are not. There is a note for the word Faggot, "may be used in a disparaging manner."
My source.......
Merriam-Webster please, look the words up for yourself.
How brave and noble is it to use a gay slur like that? Any fifth-grader can do it.
Brave and noble - ? Brave, yes. Noble, not sure.
I have no problem with Ann using that term. I also think that, "the gay lifestyle is an absolute lack of morality," the definition of, if you will.
The word Faggot is not a slur, IMO. It is a label for a degenerative lifestyle. One which I very much do not believe in.
It is ok to have my own thoughts on such things, right?
And speaking of 5th graders, why is it they (the Faggots) are so bent over on teaching MY fifth grader that homosexual behavior is acceptable?
It is not, to me.
I'm going to make a presumption (maybe several) here. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I know the pitfalls of doing so.
You can't stand Ann Coulter.
You have been assimilated.....in your mind, the word Faggot is offensive. What is next on your list of offensive words / phrases?
Offensive to whom? Not to me. Not to the effort of keeping the faggots from poisoning the mind of my 5th grader.
If she'd gotten on stage and used a variety of four-letter words and graphic descriptions of sexual organs and acts would you consider that be appropiate?
I would have changed the channel, bud. That's what the buttons are for.
If you don't like what Ann has to say, don't listen to her.
Is faggot being officially added to the forbidden seven word list?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_dirty_words
Exactly. I will not cave into these people. They are taking away our freedom of speech.
Edwards loves the victim role and will play this for all he can get. Which proves Ann's joke more prophetic than anything.
No, I disagree.
The n word is appropriate, I use it every time I think of the two n's who raped my girlfriend and stuck a pistol into her sexual organ while stating racial epithets.
Nazi pigs have made it a crime to call them what they are. You are supporting nazis pigs by not recognizing this simple truth.
To the death those two are n's and nothing else. Language is meant to express meaning. The n word does not even begin to espress my feelings towards them. They were not lynched by me many years ago only because the authorities would have known that I was the one.
Ann is just using language to express her dismay at being denied the right of freedom of speech in America. What part of the first amendment do you not understand?
Thank you, the liberals are effective at outlawing words with the implied meaning that the person who used the word did something wrong. It is part of the liberal fascist brainwashing that is going on, and has been going on for many years.

Hyper-literalism is a real lame debating tactic. All metaphors, similes, allusions and analogies are off limits, lest somebody pull out their dictionary.
Perhaps that was of no concern to her?
And that is exactly the problem.
Is it still okay to call somebody in Georgia or South Carolina who wants to bring back the Confederate flag a "Flaggot?"
:'D
Ok, use it at your next job interview or with your company's clients.
You can't stand Ann Coulter.
I think she's a not particularly bright or insightful attention whore.
You have been assimilated.....in your mind, the word Faggot is offensive. What is next on your list of offensive words / phrases?
Yep...as an adult, I realize that certain words reveal a lack of class. I think we mostly know that using slurs is bad.
If you don't like what Ann has to say, don't listen to her.
This doesn't even make sense. I wasn't tied down at CPAC. I'm just commenting on her remarks. Her freedom of speech doesn't shield her from criticism.
So is conservatism just about obtaining power by any means? Do we not believe any more in the power of good? If not, then there really isn't a conservative movement any more, just a different set of political opportunists.
