The Real Rudy

Rudy Giuliani had been speaking for six minutes before anyone in the audience thought to clap, which was exactly the way he wanted it. Talking to a political crowd in North Spartanburg, S.C., last month, the former New York City mayor and 2008 presidential candidate was not there to excite but to warn; he was less interested in making political promises than he was in sketching out the perils we face. He spoke in the hushed tones of the day that marked him for history, September 11, 2001, his voice barely filling the somber setting—not a hotel ballroom or a church basement, but a firehouse, festooned with American flags.

Could you post a list of Giuliani's foreign policy accomplishments? I just can't seem to find it anywhere.

When you google Giuliani and "foreign policy," you get the names of NYC Italian restaurants and delis he frequents. ROTFLMSO

" The sheer hatred exhibited here for a guy who has served his country.."

Tell us about his military service. Go ahead.

I rest my case! Do you really feel that the military is the only way to serve?

Noticed the anti-Rudy crowd and the Hunter crowd are already here. Are the Hunter threads so void of posts that have to have Rudy threads to post on. Guess that is what happens when a candidate is an * in polling numbers. Who can find a Hunter post? What can you say about an asterisk?. But note, they are pouncing in droves.. a sure sign Rudy is running away with it.

Did you happen to notice the lies told in this thread by Rudy supporters about Duncan? I'm sure you ignored that. Some of you may not go on Hunter threads to lie about him, but you are sure good at throwing out the misinformation on Rudy threads about Hunter. I will not go on Rudy threads to promote Hunter, but I will be here to correct the lies that others post.

So the sum total of Rudy's foreign experience is 2 instances of insulting foreign dignitaries? Looks like ya got a real 'winner' there!

Rudy is one of the political world's best suckers. This guy knelt in obeisance, and puckered up to countless NYC hyphenated voting blocs.

Shredding the Saudi check---showing Arafat to the door---that was Suckup Rudy at his best.

God knows how many campaign contributions Rudy pocketed just from performing those two suckups. The money must have flowed like water from a broken NYC water main.

And notice that those two incidents are the most frequently mentioned reasons some cite for supporting the lisping liberal twit's vainglorious presidential ambitions.

Mmmmmmm......those Rudy BJ's must feel s-o-o-o-o good.

Who said being a sucker is nowhere?

ROTFLMSO.

I see no lies or misinformation by Rudy posters about Hunter. What I see is Rudy supporters posting positively about Rudy, and Rudy Bashers who come here to complain about all the Rudy threads.

So, show me where you made all these corrections... maybe I missed them.

See post 24 and post 80 in response to these VERY misleading 'statements'

"Funny how the Duncan Hunter cult won't tell us why their leader has NEVER sponsored a single bill that was eventually passed and signed into law. All those years in Congress and NOTHING legislatively to show for it. Duncan Hunter is all talk. No leadership.'(post28)

'Is this the same Duncan Hunter who bounced $129,000 worth of checks to the House bank?"(post33)

Yes; I've been told all the trolls and formerly banned freepers are being let back in as long as they hate Rudy.

It's post 28 ... you feel you corrected it, so what is your problem? The way you made it sound was that every post here was a lie by Rudy supporters about Hunter. Rudy supporters aren't here to bash your candidate but to discuss their own.

LOL!!! Yeah, and Rudy is a conservative, too!

I posted (#122) posts from Dec. and January of Rudy supporters who came on Hunter threads and did just that. They drew first blood. But that post was removed by the mod, because those posts were pretty vicious and dishonest.

Look it up. Keyword: DuncanHunter

And you believed that?

It's a lie and you should know better.

That would be quite a few people. "all the trolls and formerly banned freepers"

It kinka goes with the false claims that all the Rudy supporters are being banned.

I hope you're all proud of yourselves; by posting all those pictures of Rudy, Free Republic is now considered a tranny site.

Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it. Rudy Giuliani

I would like to forward that quote to some folks. Do you have a source link? TIA

That is hysterical.

Dear Savage Love

I read your column faithfully every week in the Orlando Weekly. But I need to ask two things. What does the abbreviation GGG stand for? And what was the Web site that you mentioned a while ago for men to meet transsexuals? —A Faithful Fan

GGG stands for “good, giving, and game,” which is what we should all strive to be for our sex partners. Think “good in bed,” “giving equal time and equal pleasure,” and “game for anything—within reason.” And that tranny Web site I mentioned was, I believe, freerepublic.com.

Their bold, not mine.

Well, they may not be convincing people not to vote for Rudy, but at least someone is paying attention. Freerepublic, the tranny website. Looks like the Village Voice and a few others carried it too. Wonder how far back he mentioned FR.
