Fred's "no" vote to convict Clinton lost this Tennessean's vote forever.

The Clinton's must have a lot of black mail evidence on him.

Doubt he'll run and if he does I'll pass.

I'm good ... how's about you? Nope .. freezing out ..feels like is 10 now .. still been windy .. even a few light flakes today. But it's supposed to be a high of 34 tomorrow .. WOW .. lol.

I had all good ideas about sleeping in today, then got distracted here and had to complete my own work review
today and get it in the mail.. YUCK YUCK YUCK .. HATE doing that stuff.

By that time, my 2 cups of coffee had set in, and I was awake and FRing. But, my zzzzzzzzzzz's are close .. have to get up for early Mass in the morn.

Sweet sleep, sleuthie .. next week, there's a chance I'll be gone for a day and won't be able to track Libby ..possibly Tues .. I'll let you and Bah know and maybe one of you can.

I'm gonna HATE it if I miss verdict day after all this.

Okay...sleep good yourself.

Just let me know if you need me...I hope you aren't gone when the verdict comes in either.

I hope we can all be on the thread together...to CELEBRATE an acquittal.

See you tomorrow, hopefully.

"The Hunt for Red October" is one of my favorite books, and they made a pretty darn good movie adaptation out of it. They changed a few things around but overall did a good job of staying true to the book.

"Crazy Ivan sir! To starboard."

Show me where Fred Thompson stated that Roe should not be overturned.

I already said: Look through National Reviews from 1994. I can't find the article anymore, but it stated unequivocally that he was pro-choice.

Anything more recent? I was a "pro choice" liberal RAT in '94 myself before I finally opened my eyes. 13 years is a while.

No, and he could have changed his mind. But he never said so publicly.

I'm not trashing Thompson. I like Thompson, and would consider voting for him for President. I'm just saying, he ran as pro-choice in 1994, and he hasn't ever said he changed his mind.

He doesn't look like he wears makeup at all, nor am I saying he should wear makeup as a rule. I was just making the observation that a pale Nixon who refused to use makeup during a very important Presidential debate left him at an extreme disadvantage to the tanned (or slightly made up) Kennedy. Unfortunately, Hillary will be colorfully, artfully and psychological poll dressed, tanned and made up for debates or sooner. - Also unfortunately, campaigning is now, thanks to the ubiquitous tv camera, a very visual endeavor - and people are in general, unfortunately, suckers for appearances in this youth culture. Hillary is blessed with a head of hair, or, if not, she can and will (if the polls indicate she should) visit Hair Club for Women or Wig World. Again, unfortunately, that will play well in Rio Linda, and even also amongst the yellow dog Democrats out here in the sticks where we live.

Fred Thompson looks very nice and Presidential, but he has my permission to slightly tweak (nothing extreme like surgery or wigs or anything remotely like that) his appearance - a slight suntan, a healthy diet, not allowing anyone from Hillary's camp near his debate makeup IF he should decide to wear any for any debates with her.

I'm a woman and if I follow your premise, then I shouldn't use the bit of pink Terra Tint natural lip stuff that I think makes me at least look healthier because it is pretending to be "something I'm not".

I think he's a firecracker of a candidate with the potential to be dynamite.
