Thank goodness, but I'm skeptical. Too much spotlight to turn down.

Plus, EV is on the record for not supporting John Cox, and he certainly isn't bumping any Hunter threads, so it is perplexing.

What it suggests is that people who are tired of being called traitors and pro-abortion and anti-gun in the face of all known facts will leave.

They'd have no problem if weren't supporting a pro-abortion, anti-gun candidate and therefore turning traitor to conservatism.

They're the kind that go both ways. Fitting when you're talking about Giuliani.

You are now insinuating that Rudy is gay?

How low can you sink?

Not long ago Jim Robinson had a post explaining why it behooves all of us to be pragmatic when it comes to the House and Senate and vote for the Republican even if he is a RINO, which Coleman isn't, but as you said, we wouldn't have that idiot Dashole blocking every Republican bill or judicial nominee if we had a Republican majority.

I can't speak for EV or Keyes. It was just my opinion. He'd be nuts to enter the race.

"The principal reason was a shift among white evangelical Protestants, who now clearly favor Giuliani over McCain. Giuliani among this group of Americans despite his support of abortion rights and gay rights, two issues of great importance to religious conservatives."

The people are speaking. Anyone around here listening?

It's gossip mongering, period.

He doesn't even "know" people that "know" that stuff.

Any political person who would work for Rooty is by definition an unprincipled hack.

Of course, you do realize that the same thing is said about Alan Keyes, right?

It's interesting that you say you wouldn't vote for Whitman since a convincing case could be made that she's more conservative than Giuliani.

You think? The charges made about Rudy's people were just so suffused with specificity, so how could that be?

Nah. He's pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-constitution.

What I would do 'FOR' Whitman would be more appropriately discussed in a gourmet dining forum. But I still would not vote for her for President...

;>)

Yes, I did. It was my first vote, cast out of ignorance and the fact that I grew up in a yellow-dog democrat family.

I voted for Reagan in 1980, having seen what damage Carter did, and have voted Republican ever since.

Are you holding it against me that I wasn't born conservative and had to convert? Don't you WANT people to change theier minds and vote conservative? After all, Reagan himself was at one time a democrat.

I didn't have any idea who he is but anyone that tells me I want to marry Rudy along with other snide remarks doesn't deserve my respect. Been around the AF for almost 30 years and trust me I know some really good generals/colonels and some not so good. BTW, I never posted to him on this thread and the comments came out of blue.

I find it interesting how tender some are on this thread about being in Giuliani's employ. Things that make a guy go "hmmmm..."

Not you, of course...
