Pelosi: Bush thinking on Iraq 'impaired' (Barf Alert)
CNN ^ | February 27, 2007

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that she believes President Bush's judgment on the Iraq war "is a little impaired."

She also said his approach to Iraq is based on personal conviction, rather than political judgment.

"What I don't think is that it is a political decision on the part of the president. This is what he firmly believes," Pelosi said in an interview with CNN's "Larry King Live."

"I just would hope that whatever he thinks about the war that he would also value the fact that the American people have lost confidence in him.

"I think his judgment is a little impaired on this war, with all due respect to the president and his good intentions," she told King.

Pelosi also blasted a comment made last week by Vice President Dick Cheney that legislative moves by Pelosi and other House Democrats to oppose Bush's war policy would "validate" al Qaeda's strategy.

"What the vice president said is beneath the dignity of his office and beneath the dignity of the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform," Pelosi said.

"The vice president is in a place that is out of touch with the American people, out of touch with what so many generals are saying and out of touch with even a bipartisan majority in the Congress."

The speaker confirmed she called Bush to complain about Cheney's comments.

"The president had said to me ... that he would not tolerate any undermining of anybody's patriotism or our intention to protect the national security," she said.

"He said, 'Could you let me know if this happens?' So I wanted to let him know that it happened."

Man, what a whiner. What is Nancy Girl going to do about it? She has poltical power, let's see her exercise it, instead of flapping her gums when things don't got her way.

Pelosi is the cliche of the male chauvanist's idea of a woman in politics--overly sensitive and whining about "feelings" and making everything personal.

"Whaaaaa! They said what we were doing was what al qaeda wants!"

Well, Nancy, answer this--do you really believe that al qaeda DOESN'T approve of the US pulling out of Iraq?

Well hell lady, he's only from Texas, not Marin County, how can you expect anything better than "impaired". But we know you meant that in the best possible way and, god forbid, didn't mean to be judgmental about it.

and President Bush responding (actually to her tattling on the VP - but applies to Pelosi)

"The president had said to me ... that he would not tolerate any undermining of anybody's patriotism or our intention to protect the national security,"

Just a little twist...... Think about it Pelosi - if you can!!

Umm. Pelosi is impaired. That says it all.

But to expound just a little, OF COURSE HE OPERATES OUT OF CONVICTIONS!!! To do otherwise is to take a course of political expediency rather than following a right course. To do otherwise would be to base judgments on public opinion polls rather than a firm morality.

But I just stated the difference between the RATS and President Bush.

I guess we are all to assume she is correct without question. No need to state clearly why she thinks this since in the world of "groupthink" no explanation is necessary.

This blubbering idiot complains about what Cheney said and then declares that Bush's thinking is impaired?

If you can't take the heat, get out of the oven, my dear failure...

Pelosi and company are card carrying members of an off shoot of al qaeda called Baal Qaeda. That woman is evil and tries to cover it in "nice". Something she must have picked up from Rosie. She's not nice. She is two-faced and both of them are bad.

Thank you Nancy. Probably the first time in 20 years a President did what he thought was right instead of for political expediency. Unlike the whole of the Dem Congress (minus Lieberman) and half of the Republicans.

Baal Qaeda

Good one. Unfortunately accurate, too.

Pelosi doesn't seem to grasp the very simple saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Al Qaeda sure does, though.
