The leader of the Nation of Islam recommended anti-Semitic conspiracy tracts and former President Carters book to his followers. The Anti-Defamation League noted that Louis Farrakhan concluded his Saviours Day address in Detroit by recommending several books for his listeners.
Among them were The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, which claims that the slave trade was dominated by Jews; The Secrets of the Federal Reserve, which claims that the worlds banks are controlled by the Jews; and Carters Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, which alleges that Israel has set up a de facto apartheid system for Palestinians in the West Bank.
Copies of The Synagogue of Satan, a book written by a Nation of Islam member which says that the world is being manipulated and corrupted by Satanic powers led by Jewish elites, were available for purchase at the event.
Farrakhan may have held his anti-Semitic views in check while on the dais, but if this is what he wants people to read, then the leopard hasnt changed his spots, ADL National Director Abe Foxman said in a statement Monday.

NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Minister Louis Farrakhan, the anti-Semitic and racist leader of the Nation of Islam, concluded his Saviours' Day address by recommending to his audience several notoriously anti-Semitic books, including "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews."
"Farrakhan may have held his anti-Semitic views in check while on the dais, but if this is what he wants people to read, then the leopard hasn't changed his spots," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.
"Minister Farrakhan's reading list includes books that purport to expose 'the truth' about Jews and their control of the federal banking system or their role in the African slave trade.
"It's a shame that Farrakhan had an opportunity to change his legacy, and he didn't," added Mr. Foxman.
Toward the conclusion of his Saviours' Day address at Ford Field in Detroit, which was described as his last major speech, Minister Farrakhan told his audience, "I want you to become readers" and "Put these names down." Among the authors and books he recommended:
-- "The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews," which argues that the history of slavery in the New World was dominated by Jewish ship owners and merchants. The book presents a multi-layered attack against the Jewish people, assaulting the integrity of the Jewish religion, the meaning of Jewish history, and the foundations of Jewish scholarship upon which the book's own fraudulent charges are based.
-- "The Secrets of the Federal Reserve" by Eustice Mullins, an anti-Jewish conspiracy theory propagandist, one of the key conspiracy books claiming that the banking system in the U.S. is controlled by a few elite families (most of them Jewish). It is a key text used by anti-Semites on the far right.
-- "By Way of Deception" by Victor Ostrovsky, a discredited book that makes unsubstantiated claims about Israel's Mossad.
-- "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid" by President Jimmy Carter, a biased, simplistic and distorted view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that portrays Israeli policies in dealing with Palestinians in the territories as inherently racist.
Copies of "The Synagogue of Satan," written by nation of Islam member Ashahed Muhammad, which claims that the world is being manipulated and corrupted by Satanic powers led by Jewish elites, were available for purchase at the event.
The Anti-Defamation League, founded in 1913, is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.

I'm reading The Case for Israel by Alan Dershowitz and he reports that as he has traveled the country giving lectures at colleges, inevitably dozens of kids come up to him and say "I didn't know".
They are being indoctrinated but Alan has done God's work in introducing those kids to the facts, imo.
Well I would say it's poetic justice that Carter's book has found it's place among the anti semitic crowd. Not quite as good as Mein Kampf but certainly on the recommended reading list for the Jew haters.
Yeah, Farrakhan and Carter - "birds of a feather" and all that.
Yes, a shame Carter refuses to debate him, or Dennis Ross, or anyone. It makes a lie of Carter's claim that his intent was to stimulate debate, a debate he runs from.
Heck, a few extra sales.
Anyone know any more about this book/author? Seems like I've run across him before but can't remember any details. For what it's worth, the book seems to have good reviews on Amazon.
This is a dangerous man. He gives people reasons to hate Jews and others who are not of his "religion"
Does this mean that someone will now purchase Carter's book? I'll bet that's an ego boost for him.
Poetic justice. On the paperback edition of Carter's screed he can feature a blurb from Farrakhan.
Is it not true that most of the banks in the Federal Reserve are run/owned by people of Jewish decent? And the last two Fed heads were Jewish. I mean, that doesn't mean that "the Jews control the World" because if they did every middle eastern nation except Israel would be in flames or under martial law. But denying that the majority of powerful people in the international banking scene are Jewish is futile. I just don't think it means anything.
If the Jews controlled the world, Israel and New York City would be the two safest places on earth. And as we all can see, that is the farthest from reality you can get. Don't buy in to the old anti-semitic lie.
Sweet. And appropriate.
Finally, Jimmuh has found a religious leader who buys into his crap.
Farrakhan wasted his life being a religious huckster.
"Yes, a shame Carter refuses to debate him, or Dennis Ross, or anyone."
Last guy Carter debated was Reagan, and we know how that turned out.
I never thought I'd hear Alan Dershowitz accused of doing God's work, but if that's the case, more power to him.
