Thanks! Knew Will Smith would be a good see no matter what. Between the two of you and what we already thought, gotta see this film!
Ennio Marrcone....Good
Al Gore...Bad
Ellen...Ugly
That it is and the true story it is based on is a good book also....it has been reissued and I have seen it at Costco and Walmart...
Actually she is a very funny comedienne.
Just one question...
Did AL Go3re arrive in Southern California via a fossil fuel guzzling private jet aircraft or was he riding in "green" transportation?
I think I know the answer...
Can't blame you. Look, if you're a conservative (as I am) who likes movies... you can appreciate it when stooges like Algore just make a "splash"... rather than taking 2-4 minutes to make a "political statement".... The Academy has been cracking down on that recently... turns out, they do like making money.... at times..
Is it just me, or does Clint seem to be a bit "off" tonight??
Clint...like everyone..is getting old.
what movie is this Celine song from?
I don't think they said which movie.
I would love to see Don Rickles emcee the Oscars . . he is one of the top insult comedians out there. . .
Clint seemed a little low key....but, how old IS he these days...75+?
Mark
Is Clint a Republican?
Volver was a good movie also
Goodnight people, be good :)
sw
They said it was the world premier so doubtful it is in a movie(yet)
Have to warn you though... this film "troubled" me for days.... as I wondered whether I was doing enough, as a father, to instill the proper work ethic in my sons....
It's a powerful film.... I think (hope) it's over-done in parts.. But, I definitely think it's a must-see... and, appropriate for most kids over 9??? Not much profanity... no nudity... only, a few scenes that might be scary for a young kid (parents fighting, etc...)
Yes, Clint is a bit off tonight. Earlier, his wife had to repeat what Ellen said about him in his opening monologue and he was heard to lament missing his glasses after he was reading earlier.....Maybe he left his hearing aid and glasses at home and they say "Vanity thy name is woman"...
Don is 187-years-old.
He turns 81 in May!
