Edward Loesch died peacefully around noon today. He had lived with us for 14 years, after moving from Erie, PA. With the help of home health and Hospice, and the never failing devotion of his daughter, his last days were comfortable and dignified.

It sounds like he lived a good life and died as well as any could expect. He absolutely did. He lost his sight at around 60 ys (lived to be 92.) In recent years, he suffered with dementia. Yet, he bore all his infirmities with patience and good cheer. I never heard him say a mean or angry word, and Mrs d says that is how he lived his whole life.
