FReep this poll: Giuliani vs Duncan Hunter:
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=173
Hey Jim, isn't a "FReep this poll thread" supposed to link to a poll on another website??? ;) :)
Has Sean Hannity started his countdown to the election yet?
"He's got some months to get himself some face time and get known. If he does, I'm ready to change my mind about his electability."
So, you're going to sit back and see which side might win? Some people would rather lose and be right than win and be wrong.
Once the leaf falls from the mighty oak it will blow in the direction of the wind and soon be forgotten, while the tree itself will stand proud and firm for hundreds of years.
freeped and bumped for Hunter in 08.
Dear MadIvan,
"I didn't mean you personally; there is plenty of 'unsolicited advice' to Britain on this site."
Even so, there is a difference between a mostly-American crowd chatting about the possible shortcomings of foreign governments on a website about American politics, for American conservatives, and a foreigner going to a mostly-American website and adamantly and forcefully telling us for whom we should vote.
I've always appreciated your presence, here, Ivan, but I feel negatively toward your vehement support and forceful arguments for a particular American presidential candidate.
Just my honest feelings, expressed toward someone whom I respect and like.

No idea. Just saw that clock on another site and thought it would be interesting to post. :-)
It's java script and therefore active. Kinda cool.
Slam Dunk...put us in the war with Iraq....keep it
in baskeball..please. Hunter is toast and you
all know it.....I am in his district and he would
never get the numbers he gets on this FR site?? JK
Deciding on which person should be president of the USA is not something that should be decided on a whim, or even on someone else's word. I think some of us want to get a "good" look at the candidates before making such an important decision.
Leave her alone. She has a right to support whoever she chooses, whenever she chooses.
Not a Rudy fan though, not really.
Well yeah! It's the candidate's job to make himself known. I don't know who he is, and I hang out on a political forum all day. If I don't know... the folk that just work all day and have other hobbies don't know him either. If they don't know him, they ain't gonna vote for him. I'm not opposed, but HE's got to get himself known by getting that face time and showing himself to be a 'national' caliber candidate. I shouldn't have to go and look him up to find out about him. It's called a campaign, not a treasure hunt.
Good tag line! I agree 100%. Hunter is a patriotic American conservative, something we haven't seen in a presidential race for MANY years.
Right now, the people seem to be choosing Giuliani. That seems to frustrate some to no end.
The 20%-ish that voted for Rudy don't prefer him over Duncan Hunter, they just think he is more popular...
I never mentioned that she didn't have the right to vote for whoever she wants to. I think she's a big girl and can take care of herself without you coming to her defense.
"Well, I voted Rudy...". "...It's not because I don't like Hunter, it's because I don't know him at all."
Tell me, CindyDawg, what kind of sense does that make? Makes me wonder how many Rudy votes should be in the "Undecided" column?
The mighty oak was once a little nut that held its ground.
"He's a flaming liberal."
"Your above quote will be someone's tagline before night's end".
