This seems to be the conventional wisdom but I disagree. I mean if Hillary gets the nomination why would she pick Obama? She'll probably get 90% plus of the black vote without him so there is really nothing to gain politically by picking him. I think she'll probably pick someone like Richardson or a moderate/leftist central/mountain time zone person. The dems seem to have targeted that part of the country to try to pick up seats. Maybe the senator from Indiana (whose name excapes me).

This will be a tough ticket to beat. The only one who could beat it would be Rudy. It's just the truth.
A leftist shrill woman is harder still.
But a leftist shrill woman plus a leftist black with a Muslim name and a Muslim past, no way. That is too extreme for this country at this point in time.
She will pick a more palatable candidate to be the alkili to her acid.
Obama will be given the shaft by Hillary (just like the dems always do to blacks).
Hillary will probably chose Mark Warner or Edwards.
Oh, and Rudy/Rice would lose to Hillary/whoever. I don't think there is anyone who can beat Hillary at this point...especially if things in Iraq don't get a lot better REAL QUICK.
No way Hildebeast chooses Obama. He cannot provide any help whatsoever in delivering any red state Kerry lost in '04. The VP slot will go to Richardson or Bayh or Webb.
Picking Obama would bring a different light to the dems mocking of Dan Qualye who was VP after only having 8 yrs or so in the US Senate.

I have been saying this since 2004
They would make a great couple...Neither of them will be shocked by the other's coldheartedness. They both merely pretend to care about others. Neither would break a fingernail to prevent an unborn child from being ripped apart. Neither would vote to help todays Iraqis.

You have a good point about Richardson.
One sunny day in 2008, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench.
He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton."
The Marine replied, "Sir, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here." The old man said, "Okay," and walked away.
The following day, the same man approached the White House e and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton".
The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here." The man thanked him and again walked away . . .
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton."
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mrs. Clinton. I've told you already several times that Mrs. Clinton is not the President and doesn't reside here. Don't you understand?"
The old man answered, "Oh, I understand you fine, I just love hearing your answer!"
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow. Sir"
Geeze! Now I have to try to sleep with that visual haunting me.
Traditionally Veeps can't help a candidate, only hurt. Obama will not get it.
The MSM may be making these preparations but they are wasting their time.

She's far too shrewd for that. She'll take a "moderate" like Richardson or Warner.
True! But .. some have suggested it might be Richardson with Hillary because he's Hispanic.
However, he hates Hillary .. and Bill. When he ran for re-election, he told Bill to stay away. I just can't see him wanting to be her 2nd.
