I heard a Marine veteran on the radio today say " the Marine Corp Commandant should strip Murtha of his being a Marine, the commandant could do that!"
Does anyone know if that is true? Can the title of Marine be taken away from an "ex" Marine?

why can't the real Republicans...bring troops in to Congress to tell the american people how they feel about iraq, the President and now this congress and the media?
I guess it would have to be in a "hearing'. It was done when Kerry did his lying crap...now how about decent troops ( who have retired, of course recently) telling the American people what the truth is.

No, you are definately NOT the only one who is heartsick (not to mention disgusted). Here in Iowa, our state legislature voted in another meaningless gesture to oppose the troop surge. Combine that with overturning Iowa's ban on human cloning the other day, and the likelihood of gutting our right to work law by allowing the unions to steal from those of us who have no desire to be in their damn unions, and its all going to hell in a handbasket.
