Hardaway's new legacy a hateful one

Clang!

The man who once went 0-for-17 in an NBA regular-season game has thrown up another brick.

Only this one didn't bounce harmlessly off the rim. Tim Hardaway's latest chuck was a brick thrown right at the gay community. What did the gay community ever do to Tim Hardaway, you ask? Uh, exist, I guess.

"I hate gay people," Hardaway announced proudly during a sports radio interview Wednesday.

Doesn't get much clearer than that. So much for love the sinner hate the sin.

Discussing former NBA center John Amaechi's revelation that he is gay, Hardaway said, "You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known. I don't like gay people and I don't like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States."

The world or the United States? Man, we haven't seen this kind of tough talk against homosexuality since Reverend Ted Haggard's pre-suspensions sermons.

At one point, I tried to be tolerant of gays that I met. I would talk to them as normal individuals. After awhile though, all civilised talk with them decends into lewd and suggestive sexual comments, innuendo, attempts at touching and suggestions that you go back to their place.

That's when I realised something - homosexuals, most of them, are extreme perverts and cannot help themselves. So now I just avoid them altogether. I don't hate them, but I can do without the disgusting comments.

As I said, I tried to be tolerant of them, but they would not allow me to have a civilised conversations with them, so to hell with it, if they can't be respectful of my sexuality as a straight MAN, than why should I be respectful of their sexuality?

Any members of the gay community who read this and are upset, sorry, but you people bring it on yourself, and I'm all out of patience with your perverted behaviours.

"Oh yeah, FREEPERS want Richard Simmons to come out of the closet so bad. Don't ask me why but they are constantly talking about him for some reason. FREEPERS are as bad as the media when it comes to the need to know who is gay or not. Weird is all I can say."

I suspect the vast majority of Freepers, when thinking about Richard Simmons sexual predelictions, just don't give a 'napscoordinator.'

BTW, are YOU little Dick Simmons?

Sorry, but I don't want to be in the locker room undressing in front of a schlong-gobbler either.

When you grow up and perhaps read some threads on FR than you may be able to talk. Unitl then stay in the childrens section where you belong. Also, stop writing childish posts you just look ridiculous. Nobody is surprised here, but still you just look silly.

throw me under the bus too because I don't like being around openly gay men especially those with very panzy behaviour...

I say this with admitted homosexual men in my extended family.....but they're not panzies, and they don't publicize their sex lives.....

As I read your post, I was reminded of your screen name. I didn't think 'Naps,' I thought 'nappies' as in the English term for diapers. I exited the Navy in 1970, way before you even thought a Wave was a wave was a ripple.

I spent four years in the Intel service and would welcome any kind of a competitive quiz with you. I've been on FR, in one way, shape or another since a couple of your ship-overs ago and I know all about FR; I also know about blow-hards, just as I know about lifers.

Cool. I do believe that you know what my screen name means especially since you were in the Navy. Have a good one. I didn't go back and search what we were talking about because it was quite a while back and I am on to other discussions, but it must have been good.

It isn't Christian to hate the individuals involved.>>>>

And that's what is going to be harder and harder to not hate the sinner too as we go along and try not to notice that these sodomites are trying to redefine the very concept of sin, to protest loudly until they accomplish the brainwashing of Christians to accept them as some kind of downtrodden minority. They define their entire being by how they misuse their bodies and those of others. They refuse to see the hell-bound road they are on. It's just going to be a hard row to hoe, but it is the Christian challenge of our day to love them as we are required by God to do. But the most unloving thing a Christian could do would be to ignore their brother's sin and continue to let them believe they are not acting contrary to God's will

"Its the one time where Christian love takes a vacation here."

I disagree. I haven't read anything hateful, that I recall. Most here though would agree that political correctness should be combated because it has nothing to do with the truth. I'd be careful not to confuse the two.
