a career ending move,,,we must see that they never get another penny.
I am going to lead the effort in Central Florida to find a primary challenger to Keller that will beat him in 08.
...surprised Heather Wilson from NM voted that way...
Representative Heather Wilson, a New Mexico Republican, said she opposed the troop increase in Iraq but declined to support the resolution. She infuriated Democrats when she hinted that their party was considering plans to limit war financing.
What about the five brigades of young Americans who are now preparing their families and packing their gear to deploy? Ms. Wilson said. What about them? What are you saying to them? Will we buy body armor for them? Will we have armored Humvees for them?
Looks like she didn't go all the way
(From NY Times)
Representative Heather Wilson, a New Mexico Republican, said she opposed the troop increase in Iraq but declined to support the resolution. She infuriated Democrats when she hinted that their party was considering plans to limit war financing.
A few hundred thousand emails and telephone calls to these RINO's should make their day. Let them know they are now on the list to be voted out of office. The leadership of the GOP needs some testosterone pills. The leadership should be whispering in these RINO's ears and telling them their support and funds are now gone. Enjoy the time you have left in office and then it's back to the real world for a reality check.
These schmucks have a severe case of ego and power. They think they're elected for life and the voters can't touch them.
Local jurisdictions need to find strong, conservative challengers to go after these RINO's.
Weak bottom feeders is as nice as I can say it.
Republicans are Patriots...these people aren't Patriots (see my tagline).
I understand she is a grad of the AF academy
Jimmy Duncan, while normally a very conservative vote, has proven increasingly disappointing in regards to Iraq.
He heard from me, but I don't see him shifting course.
So they distorted her views...do you expect anything better out of the NY Slimes?
This says 12. On ABC radio news today they specifically said "dozens" (plural) so I expected 24, 36, 48 etc. What gives here? That said, are there that many GOP members who want to energize the enemies to this nation?
his is why I'm a conservative and not a Republican. I can't stand many of the useless jerks in that Party.
I just cannot get over Howard Coble.
Hagel, Snowe...the usual suspects. But what I don't understand is this: Snowe, representing Maine, has a traditionally liberal, blue state constituency, so she leans left on most issues. Her position, then, is understandable, if possibly insincere and unprincipled, but Hagel's from Nebraska. Is Nebraska some seething hotbed of liberal sentiment, a Wisconsin without the cheese, or is Hagel just being Hagel? I simply don't know enough about Nebraskan politics to figure it out.
