Another Holocaust overseen by the dem-o-rats and their terrorist allies might change their minds. Even that would be doubtful.
When you look at who have been the strongest supporters of a Jewish state, the large support by this nation's Jews of democrats is most puzzling.
You know, it funny. The Democrats haven't really supported Israel since Bobby Kennedy was killed by a Muslim terrorist.
Since the 60s cowardice has become the core principal of the Democratic Party. At first, they were just afraid to go fight for their country. Then they got to the point where they started exhibiting Stockholm Syndrome, and claimed that the evil enemy was really good.
They've progressed to the point where they are even afraid to let volunteer heros go fight for them, and they continue to support America's enemies. America's Jews are mostly an extreme example of this, where they support a party which is home to many anti-Semites, and openly supports a group which wants all Jews dead.
God only knows!

It stems from this: Most Jews have a good memory of oppression. They associate Dems with liberal defense, so they vote Dem in the belief that Dems will support freedom of association & religion more than Republicans. The truth is that Republicans are more sympathetic to individual freedom than Dems, but Dems get out there and support abortion ("freedom" of choice), knock government (I hate Bush), and offer women candidates (Hillary), which the Jews like. The truth be known, the Jews would be better off with Republicans than Dems, especially in light of recent (30-year)history.
Mass stupidity.
Who says Democrats like Jews? I've known many African Americans, probably Democrats all, who hated Jews. Jimmy Carter likes Jews? Hillary Clinton likes Jews? They like their votes, that's about it. How about those "progressives" who think Israel is evil?

Why did many Israelites worship the golden calf? Why did many Jews embrace communism in Russia? Why do many embrace liberalism, today? Why do many embrace the ACLU?
Why? Because they have rebelled against God. They have sold their souls to the devil.

The only Jews who are complaining are from out of state. If they lived here, then they wouldn't have said a word - because older people still love Mitt's dad from when he was Governor in the 1960's and everyone here loves their cars -and Henry Ford (despite his flaw of being anti-Semitic). A lot of it has to do with the fact that so many people are employed or were employed by Ford Motor. And the Fords did and still do a lot for our area. There's the Henry Ford medical centers, Ford high schools, the Henry Ford Community College, the donations to various charities/organizations in our area...
People who only see Ford for being an anti-semite are missing the complete picture of what Ford did for our state. And that's the real tragedy of their comments. MI wasn't the car capital of the world until Ford came along....it's a legacy that we are very proud of here - even if you don't work in the auto industry. It makes you realize how ignorant some people really truly are.
Yes, it is wrong to be an anti-semite, but it is also wrong to assume that this is someone's only characteristic.
