President Bush held a news conference this morning in the East Room of the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007.
The entire text of his remarks and the Q & A session, complete with a video link can be found here. I might add, the text is really worth reading in its entirety. I will post a couple of highlights, including the smackdown of one particularly obnoxious reporter.
After a luncheon with SoD Gates, President Bush greeted and met with Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in the Oval Office of the White House. The text of their remarks can be read here.
Happy Birthday!
Have you seen the rag sheets this week. Drives me nuts when I'm checking out at the supermarket and they have this stupid paper staring at people saying Laura hired a divorce lawyer....
I find myself talking out loud....'what garbage!' Think I'm going to be carted away some day...
God truly has blessed President Bush. Otherwise, I don't know how he could be so calm when dealing with the dopey media people.
He pulled her skirt up then?
The President was awesome today. When they were questioning him about weapons coming from Iran...he said he's trying to protect our troops. Amazing that the Democrats are skeptical about the President's comments on Iran....not surprised that protecting the troops is not the Dims first thought.
I meant to say "He pulled her skirt up?"...I can't type tonight.
DrDeb, thank you! I've been looking for a list of the "Republican" Congressman who are not supporting the President's strategy. I called Boehner's office yesterday but would like to call these individuals.
White Flag Republicans.......perfect description. I will use this when I call their offices.
Happy Birthday, rintense! Hope your day was extra special.
Yeah I remember that was cuteee
Seem Barney and Miss Beazley OH Great another photo ops we kick back here Mama
Thank you! It was very nice... except one of my closest friends making me a year older than I really am!!!! LOL.
Charlie, a Rottweiler mix, whose own mother rejected him, snuggles Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007 with his substitute mother, Satin, at the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, Conn. The cat had just had her own litter of kittens and took on Charlie in addition.
That is a beautiful photo, absolutely inspirational.
Oh thank you. I am honored to accept on behalf of webtv and dialup neanderthals everywhere. No, seriously, thanks Gretchen.
They do several different types of boxed chocolates plus chocolate and toffee selection which are supplied in cartons or at Christmas and Easter in large tins, these are called Roses.
One of the boxed chocolate selections I referred to is also a speciality Roses ones.
In addition to that there are well over 20 different type of chocolate bars they do
Here is a link to a few of them - it is quite fun to explore this website as well - makes one hungry
