President Bush held a news conference this morning in the East Room of the White House in Washington, Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007.
The entire text of his remarks and the Q & A session, complete with a video link can be found here. I might add, the text is really worth reading in its entirety. I will post a couple of highlights, including the smackdown of one particularly obnoxious reporter.
After a luncheon with SoD Gates, President Bush greeted and met with Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in the Oval Office of the White House. The text of their remarks can be read here.
It is well done IMHO.. But I like war movies. Actors did a great job all the way around.
Night hon
There is NO hurry with it.........really!
Good night, snugs!
I will pass it on to both of them...it doesn't help that Ross is going to miss 3 of his best buddies wedding, including my daughter's when he thought he would be there for them, plus HIS OWN WEDDING had to be postponed until the end of Nov.!
Good night, sis!
There is no meat in anything I sent you may have meat flavour but no actual meat I checked.
You're welcome!
(Just had to shut my eyes a few times. But I figured out when pretty easily. I'm a no gore kinda woman. :)
Good night, ((( snugs ))). See you tomorry.
LOL --- then I already know I will have to shut my eyes too.
By the way I made the caramel brownies from the mix you sent over the weekend they were yummy
Just got home from a romantic dinner with my AWESOME hubby and thought I'd stop by before bed!
Quick Comments:
1.) The feature photo is beyond adorable!
2.) The photos of our loving First Couple are beyond romantic!
3.) The President's remarks at and control of his press conference this morning were beyond AWESOME!! [Medved is just another elitist trying to get ratings in a tough CA market by trashing the President -- He's going about it the WRONG way!] . . . BTW: C-Span will re-broadcast the press conference at 11 PM EST tonight:

4.) TIME TO GET BUSY . . . WE MUST CALL THE "REPUBLICAN" REPRESENTATIVES WHO HAVE DECIDED TO USE OUR TROOPS AND THEIR MISSION TO SCORE PETTY (AND FLEETING) POLITICAL POINTS AND TELL THEM WHAT WE THINK OF THEIR ABHORANT BEHAVIOR!. . . JOIN THE VICTORY CAUCUS!
[As jewels1091 noted in her post describing the treasonous behavior of the LEFT and their 'soulless' SPAMMING our courageous troops, these so-called Republicans are enabling our enemies (foreign and domestic) and undermining our Commander in Chief and his troops . . . this must stop!!]

Happy Valentine's Day to you, Eleanor.
Those Cadbury chocolates look delicious! I've only seen the Cadbury bars (hmm, with raisins and nuts). I've never seen Cadbury boxed chocolates.
More likely, Snugs, he had a rapid advance on his camera, you know, click, click, click to thirty or so shots in one a little more than a second. Then picked the best one. But, who knows?
Romantic dinner, huh? Woo-HOO! Happy Valentine's DrDeb and thank you for finding time to stop by....lol.
I wish I had heard this presser. I always miss the good ones!
I am thankful he is president, too. I just can't imagine where we would be today if a DUmmie had been elected! ~shudder~
