Here's another great non sequitur.

When is the last time that the United States elected someone whose only elective office was mayor, even Mayor of New York City?

Interesting point about a possible precedent in the making.

I believe Alf Landon was a NYC Mayor that was nominated, but not elected to the Presidency. Not SURE, however.

Actually, that is absolutely applicable. The only thing that would make that nonsequiter would be the uniqueness of New York City. It is literally more challenging and emense than most countries. And the whole 911.
