Has anybody seen confirmation of the story - the sites all have the same language and I can't find any mention on the Gideon site or the ADF site - its not listed under current ADF actions.

Since the story doesnt have either any quotes from the government or the schools or a statement that they declined to comment, I'm gonna withhold outrage.

I know in Georgia there is a state law giving the school control of the sidewalk and adjacent streets and they can prevent anyone not there to to pick up or drop a child from approaching the children. (I know this because I got a car towed by parking it on the street next to a middle school to get it out of floodwaters).

I dont think we have enough yet to say this is anti-Christian discrimination.

I sent a note to the principal hoping the story was in error, and that such a thing did not happen on a public sidewalk. I continued that if the arrest was indeed made from the public sidewalk, the principal needed to reimburse the tax payers for the cost of the private patio, which all had thought was a sidewalk. Incidentally, the principle wrote back and asked me to forward her a copy of the article from which I had gathered my info. Hmmm . . .
