For the first time since October 1999, McCain's favorability rating among American voters has dropped below 50 percent. A Gallup poll taken last month showed him at 48 percent, down 6 points from November, and down from a high of 67 percent in February 2000. Giuliani, in contrast, has held above 60 percent favorability in Gallup polls, most recently at 62 percent. Now that Giuliani has signaled a serious intention to run, stating on Monday "I'm in this to win" as he filed papers with the Federal Election Commission, the comparisons grow in importance.
For Giuliani, winning over enough of the conservative Republican base to secure the nomination has long been seen as a potentially insurmountable task. But now, analysts say, it's possible that Republican-leaning independents could make the difference in the early GOP primaries.

Despite Giuliani's slow start, he now regularly beats McCain in head-to-head matchups. Gallup in early January had Giuliani beating McCain 50 to 42 among Republican primary voters.

Giuliani Bandwagon List - an invisible army yet an invincible one!
On we go!
Well, that settles the Dem nomination.
Now, who are the Republicans going to run?
First of all there is no proof he skipped out on his wife except for Ms. Vagina Monologues crying jag with the media. Second he only stayed with his friends who happened to be gay because his wife decided to take over Gracie Mansion even though she was not even supposed to be there (she was not the mayor) but rather than make waves he let her stay there. THIRD he dressed like Victor Victoria for a charity benefit. So try again!
Thanks! I have been playing around with the tagline and finally have decided on one that suits me!
GIULANI: I understand the second amendment. People have the right to bear arms. As mayor of New York I took over at a very, very difficult time.
HANNITY: Generally speaking do you think it's acceptable if citizens have the right to carry a handgun?
GIULIANI: It's part of the constitution. People have the right to bear arms.
Given the above bold declarative statments, I doubt Rudy is going to repeal the 2nd amendment.
"Beter to have Rudy pick the next Supreme Court Justice than have Hillary do it!
And right you are.
Giuliani supports gun control on a level Dem politicians would support, he is pro partial birth abortion, pro gay rights, and pro amnesty. Why in god's green earth should anyone who calls himself a conservative vote for this man?
Now, who are the Republicans going to run?
LOLOLOL
As James Lilek wrote, "And none of the objections obscure the central appeal of the Rudy candidacy: He'll nuke 'em if he has to. That won't be the central theme of his campaign, of course, but it's the unstated strength of his candidacy. "
Well, if you Guiliani fans are ready to talk about the real issues, let's do it. Giuliani is an avowed socialist: anti-Second-Amendment, pro-radical-feminist, in favor of special privileges for homosexuals,... The list goes on and on. He agrees with Hillary on most political issues.
But for reasoning voters, there's more than enough time for the facts to come out. Conservatives will not vote for Giuliani, McCain or Romney. You Giuliani fans will have shot your wad before the mini-series (the length of a lefty's attention span) is over. Gingrich and Hunter will rise to prominence.
Newt Gingrich on the issues

Duncan Hunter on the issues.

...want to keep discussing the facts, or will we now see a reversion to the typically circular, hysterical method of rehashing Gingrich's personal past?
I would like to be on the Rudy ping list. I love Rudy.
My slogan is "Vote for Rudy, and not the witch with the big booty!"
Exactly! And .. a republican VP - gives us another vote in the senate.
great link.
Sean's a New Yorker ..??
I would like to know what he has done over the years. The only thing I know that he has done is clean up New York City. He was invited to Mexico City to clean it up but failed. For some strange unknown reason I don't think the average joe in Po Doke Junction, USA will give one whit about cleaning up New York City.
Welcome! You are on it! :-)
In so many words he said it was basically situational.......
It's not. It's pretty straight forward.
I did....
You need to.
