Jeez, if this is true I'm embarassed to be a registered Republican. Then again, they roll over for everything else the MSM and Dims throw at them.
Ya know, RNC--there was a time when there were things in this country worth fighting for--or have you turned Fwench on us?

My big question is, why hasn't Al Gore stepped into the ring?

This group of GOP politicians really makes me sick to my stomach. No spine, big egos and all cowards.

LOL! Check out the look that Lieberman's giving Kucinich, like "you poor little demented imp of a man".

If, and that's a BIG if, Hillary is the Rat nominee in 2008 the Repubs must go after her on policy and issues. That's where she's most vulnerable. All the scandal stuff won't play anyhow because the DBM will bury it, and as for her "personality," just smile while she goes off on one of her infamous ranting jags.

I don't buy this sad sack scenario. Rodham bottom is far too divisive to win in a head-to-head with a solid Republican.
The concern I have is a repeat of '92, where a third party conservative emerges and pulls votes from the Republican candidate. That could throw it her way.

1. Cut Spending.
2. Cut Taxes.
3. Reduce Size and Scope of Government. Except those are not considered the core conservative principles anymore by those who proclaim themselves to be conservatives. Anti-abortion, pro-marriage amendment, interventionist foreign policy, prayer in schools, teaching creationism, all are trumpeted ahead of smaller government and lower spending.
To: Wallace T.; Sir Francis Dashwood
There is a vast difference between fighting for what you believe in and whining all the time. Give you an example.
Day after Bush was on 60 Mins, Bill Bennet opened his Morning Radio show spend 25 mins whining about "why doesn't the President Come on This show" "Why does he go on things like 60 Mins" and so forth. Did NOT say ONE word about what the President actually SAID, merely whined about where he said it.
Excuse me but 60 Mins has considerably more viewer then Talk Radio has listeners. Like it or not a Conservative has to go to the Hostile Press to get his message out.
That is typical of the vast majority of the "Conservative" media. The whine about Bush "not getting the message out" then do NOTHING to help him get the message out!
As long as the Conservative Media stays this PR stupid NO Center-Right Candidate will win. Make peace with that fact.

We cannot give up. She is beatableOf course she is beatable.
She's shrill, unattractive, and just generally unpleasant. She can't handle tough questions; she's never been exposed to them.
I've been fighting against the attitude that a Hillary presidency is inevitable here for a long time. That attitude strengthens her chances.
We can't take anything for granted, but that includes the idea that Hillary will win.

I did not realize, until I saw her announcement video, what a terrible candidate she is.
I don't think she will be nominated, much less elected.

and we're taking it on the chin.
Not to be picky, but that's not really where we are taking it.

Expose her communist roots and she will be toast - I hope.

Good Lord. What a bunch of wusses. It's no wonder we got nothing done with these people leading the Congress for 12 years.
Note to the GOP--stop pussy-footing around with liberal nominees, find a true conservative for the base to rally around, and watch what happens.

One nice thing about Hillary! for PRESIDENT!!! is that she will convince a lot of people to split their ticket, and elect Republicans to Congress. Nothing demostrates the virtue of divided government as well as a megalomaniac like Hillary! for PRESIDENT!!!

Of course she is beatable. She's shrill, unattractive, and just generally unpleasant. Sounds like Lyndon Baines Johnson. . . .but with more money.
