Rudy may be the right person and can overcome objections of social conservatives by committing to appoint people like Roberts and Scalia. But Rush finishes by saying it is way too early for him to be talking about this (the 2008 election) on his show all the time let alone endorsing anyone.

For some reason I have a good gut feeling about RG, as opposed to Newt, McCain et al.

Rush said this? Wow- this is HUGE for Rudy since Rush obviously detests McCain like most of us do. The importance of the fact that Rush can say that he MIGHT support Giuliani can not be overstated. Glad to see Rush is pragmatic enough to realize you have to pick your battles in the interests of the greater good (i.e. avoiding Hildebeast as president).

At least Rush is open to Rudy. Some on here think Rudy's the devil and would rather see Hillary elected. I know Sean Hannity likes Rudy.

Then again, Rush didnt exactly come out and endorse anyone in the 2006 elections either, did he? I mean, did he tell people to go out and vote Repubican in Ohio? In Maryland? In Virgina for goshsakes??
Rush has gotten to the point where he is "above" such mundane things as endorsing a Repubican candidate. I was VERY dissppointed with Rush in the '06 election, and I am frankly not looking for him to do anything for whoever the GOP candidate is in '08, apart from doing what he seems to love to do:
