I don't know about anyone else, but I am still waiting for Michael Schiavo to make a correction on his blog about what "actually" took place in Colorado when he went there (to the debate) to supposedly ask Congresswoman Musgrave one question and she and her staff supposedly tried to have him removed. He called it, "My unreal night in Colorado - with radio link" (Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 08:05:14 PM PST). I'll say (from what I read) that it was his "unreal night".
As I said before in "Standing up and Admitting a Mistake: Not Schiavo's Style?", if four uniformed officers were around my seat, I would have some idea of what was going on. I certainly wouldn't be sitting in "duh mode" to only be told later of what took place right there around me, as Michael suggests he was. If Michael's account is realistic -- his response and reaction is not. Nor is his response appropriate now that he has "learned" what he was "allegedly told" is not what took place. One would think if he can't get the words out that he was mistaken, he could at least have removed the inaccurate entry from his blog.
He has done neither.
I'm also still waiting to read about, "Also, maybe tomorrow I'll post about my election-eve rally with Bill Clinton in Florida." (A real election impact by Michael Schiavo, Thu Nov 09, 2006 at 10:40:34 AM PST). Indeed, I would love to read that story by Michael, since I read it was not possible. Not if he was implying it was the Bill Clinton that is the former President of the United States. Will be interesting to see what he says about that if he ever does.
If Michael couldn't get it straight what happened at the Musgrave debate or even if he spent election-eve with former President Bill Clinton -- do you suppose he might have gotten Terri Schiavo's wishes mixed-up as well? (He does claim to have a bad memory from what I read.) Makes one wonder. At least makes me wonder. Whatever...
I'm still waiting for the corrections if not the explanations!

I don't think that's a "maybe." It is the classic self-justification of a sociopath. When Michael finally did succeed in "punishing" her, he put "I kept my promise" on her memorial.
We have some facts and clues to consider.
1) Nobody else was present
2) The coroner ruled out the "bulimia" story that Michael had used as an alibi. Now he has no alibi.
3) Michael is known to have lied to the police who came to investigate, and has given different, inconsistent accounts of what happened.
4) The hospital could not find any natural cause for Terri's condition or injuries.
5) Terri suffered internal injuries that were comparable to being in a bad auto wreck -- except she wasn't in one.
6) Terri and Michael were known to have been fighting heatedly all that day.
7) Terri's blood tests showed at least two highly abnormal results associated with being assaulted.
8) Statistically, domestic violence, by husbands and boy friends, is the #1 cause of death and injury to young women.
Do we have any answers to this mystery?
And let's not forget the most important FACT:
Had Terri received rehabilitation as the court ordered, it is entirely possible that she would have recovered and been able to clear all of this up. Of course, if there was "foul play" involved, the perpetrator would not have wanted her to recover and may have even taken other steps (i.e. starvation and dehydration) to prevent her from ever recovering.
Well, there you go. The Shiavo case is over. OJ's case is over. Move on.
Shooting a healthy person in the back of the head to harvest his or her organs (Chinese standard operating procedure) is not euthanasia.
(But I bet they are...).

But something can be said for the Chinese method.
It is a whole lot more merciful and painless than the usual killings here and abroad we call euthanasia, such as dehydration.
Here, for spare parts, we declare the "donors" "brain dead" and let the harvest begin.

The legal case is still open, the medical examiner's report is still open and the Court of History is just now convened, and is likely to investigate and discuss the case for hundreds of years. You may move on if you wish, or if you'd like to discuss the case, why don't you start by giving me a factual answer to my question in #42?

They only way they can support Michael is by ducking the question. I've asked the question scores of times but no one has ever ventured a serious answer, much less one that attempts to face all of the medical facts.

I think it was "ice tea" t'wit, right about the time that Michael got home that night.
I suppose if he pinned her down and made her drink two or three gallons of iced tea....... No. The theory doesn't work. That much tea would have made her as round and bouncy as a beach ball. When Michael goes to put her on her stomach, she bounces out the front door and they find her in the parking lot.
Well, the #1 cause of death and injury to young women is domestic violence. (Subcategory: The #1 cause of death for young pregnant women is murder.) We can rule out #2, automobile accidents. We can rule out diseases. We can rule out suicide or an accidental overdose. We can rule out burns. We can rule out work-related accidents. We can rule out poison and gas. We can rule out poisonous insects or snakes. We can rule out sharks. We can rule out space aliens with ray guns.
We can rule out bulimia, too, but it hardly seems necessary. Nobody even mentions bulimia in morbidity statistics.
She was home sleeping, for crying out loud. One minute she's healthy and asleep, then her husband comes home and THUD, she's on a hallway floor, practically dead.

Lansing, MI (LifeNews.com) -- Much of the country may have forgotten about assisted suicide crusader Jack Kevorkian, but Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm insists she hasn't forgotten about him. Granholm's office said Thursday she is still weighing a request from Kevorkian's lawyer to release him from prison before his scheduled parole in June.
Kevorkian is 78 and reportedly suffers from a number of health ailments, including diabetes, hepatitis C, vertigo, high blood pressure and hardening of the arteries.

A ruling by Switzerland's highest court released Friday has opened up the possibility that people with serious mental illnesses could be helped by doctors to take their own lives.
Switzerland already allows physician-assisted suicide for terminally ill patients under certain circumstances. The Federal Tribunal's decision puts mental illnesses on the same level as physical ones.
