Shooting a healthy person in the back of the head to harvest his or her organs (Chinese standard operating procedure) is not euthanasia.

I see your point. It doesn't fit the definition very well unless the victims are considered unhealthy because of their beliefs.

(But I bet they are...).

Euthanasia, Greek for "good death," refers to the termination of the life of a person suffering from a painful and incurable medical condition. Also known as "mercy killing," euthanasia is distinguished from suicide by the necessary participation of a third party, typically either a physician or family member.

But something can be said for the Chinese method.

It is a whole lot more merciful and painless than the usual killings here and abroad we call euthanasia, such as dehydration.

Here, for spare parts, we declare the "donors" "brain dead" and let the harvest begin.
