Very well stated! Never could figure out the people that voted for Perot. Little Big Ears had nothing to offer that I could see. I keep remember the Limbaugh parody about "They are coming to take me away, away" and he still got enough votes to allow Clinton to win. I have always heard Perot got back in the race at the urging of Carville.

Clinton would have beaten Bush pere without Perot. Bush pere would have obtained more than half of the Perot votes in the South, and less than half in the North. That is what the polls showed. Blaming the coming of Clinton on Perot is an urban legend.

I've NEVER been able to figure out Perot's appeal to some. He is a complete fruitcake and NEVER made any sense whatsoever, with all of his charts and pointers and black helicopter paranoia.

The Clintons were absolutely backing him! Ross hates the Bush family.....ALL of them, so he would have done ANYTHING he could do, to help defeat any one of them.
