FOX News Poll: Voters Most Comfortable With Rudy Giuliani as President

More voters say they would be comfortable with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as president than other top 2008 contenders, though majorities would also be comfortable with other leaders from both parties, according to the latest FOX News Poll. In addition, of all the 2008 hopefuls — announced or frequently mentioned as a possibility — voters want to hear more from one candidate specifically: Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

Opinion Dynamics Corporation conducted the national telephone poll of 900 registered voters for FOX News from January 30 to January 31. The poll has a 3-point error margin.

Moreover, Giuliani’s positive rating puts him slightly ahead of a beloved Democrat — former President Bill Clinton (52 percent favorable).

So apparently cleaning up the most violent city isn't conservative.... NYC is not Texas. Gun control was already the law anyway, and Rudy cracked down on the felons and thugs gunowners.

Frankly I am pretty happy Giuliani made it harder for the social defectives in NYC to get guns and shoot up neighborhoods on a drive by or robbing little ole ladies.

Almost every other Republican candidate in the race right now supports the last three as much as Giuliani. We're in the PRIMARY election right now where we pick the candidate that best represents the Republican Party.

My hometown used to have an annual beauty and talent contest for charity in which city fathers would dress up as women and perform. My dad won three years in a row.

The local civic center was always packed and nearly all the men participating were WWII veterans.

A man certainly must be comfortable with his gender to not only particpate but most importantly have fun in raising money for charity by crossdressing.

Then you aren't aware of the fact that all elite boarding schools and even many public high schools, the Ivy League colleges and others, as well as such groups as the Bohemian Grove, which most presidents and many prominent men have and do belong to ALL have what is known as "HAIRY LEG SHOWS", from colonial days, in America.

It is probable that many former presidents engaged in the same activity.....wearing women's clothing and outrageous makeup and a wig, sometime in their lifetime.

In the past, when some boarding schools had fraternities and sororities, one day was set aside for the entire freshman class pledges to be made to wear silly outfits; most of the boys had to dress as girls and NOT try to look like a "normal" girl, but outlandishly so.

I doubt that Rudy would dress like that when he is president.There wouldn't be any reason to.

When voters are asked to name which candidate would be toughest on terrorism, Clinton (16 percent) edges Giuliani (15 percent) and McCain (15 percent) for the top spot by just 1 percentage point. Among Democrats, the highest percentage goes to Clinton (31 percent); Republicans split between Giuliani (28 percent) and McCain (24 percent).

The one mantra of the Rudy forces has been his "national security" credentials, but he still trails her royal wickedness in that category. If candidate Rudy can't secure an overwhelming majority of voters on security issues he is toast. He has no other issues to fall back on and differentiate himself from the witch. This is precisely why Ann Coulter said he is the only Republican who CAN'T beat Hillary.

I believe the point of the entire debate is let's say Rudy wins the nomination. Because he can. Just like McCain can or even just like Hunter or Newt can. But let's say it is Rudy....
