Where did you get the "support/opposes" info on Rudy?

From his years as mayor and the many statements he's made over the years. Which one are you interested in?

Very nice, but the one "true conservative" on the list of this Fox Poll, Newt Gingrich, has a 49% disapproval rating--and that will only get worse as the Democrats remind voters of why they don't like him. And I dispute the extent to which he's a true conservative in practice anyway, being as he caved to Clinton's big spending in the 90s so much so that we dispatched with him as Speaker if you'll remember. No, Gingrich is good at the conservative talk, not so good at the conservative walk.

Sorry, but Gingrich's personal and political baggage means we have no choice but to be pragmatic and support a candidate who can win, Rudy Guiliani. The positions you cite are positions he had to take to win as mayor of New York City. He'll move right on many of them to win in a country more conservative and politically diverse than New York City, not to worry. He'll certainly be more conservative than Kommisar Clinton.

Anyway, sorry Skippy. That's the reality in this election. The GOP's stock is WAY down. There aren't many GOP candidates who have a chance to keep the White House out of Hillary's hands in 2008--maybe 3 at most--and all those who can are not hardline conservatives and are names with recognition and ability to connect with voters. The dream candidates of the GOP base won't have name recognition, money or appeal such that they can win in a bad year for Republicans which 2008 is sure to be.

It's either be pragmatic and hope for better next time or enjoy 8 years of Hillary. As for me and my house, I chose to keep another Clinton out of the White House regardless of who I have to vote for.

I like the guy. I just don't think a male President should dress like a female whore.

Those pictures were taken during a CHARITY SHOW and a skit on SNL.

I have repeatedly explaining the history of "HAIRY LEG SHOWS", on FR, for months on end. How did you miss it?

It isn't "drag"; it's BURLESQUE, in the original meaning of that word.

Do you object to presidents doing comedy routines at the MSM dinners every year? Shouldn't presidents be serious [people and NOT make fun of themselves and others? Same kind of thing; except that Rudy was actually raising money for charity and NOT enteraining journos and their guests....for free.

I am not with Rudy but that is the most persuasive Rudy post I have ever seen.

I'm sorry, but Duncan Hunter is like a Dennis Kucinich. Looks wise and the amount he is pushed to one wing of the political spectrum (however he's not nuts like Kucinich).

Please explain Hunter's pro-big government votes & why he should suddenly become POTUS after 26 years of riding the Congressional bench.

If your asking whether or not I feel it to be inappropriate for the President of the United States to dress up like a woman my answer would be yes.

For what organization did Rudy Giuliani dance in drag? What causes offensive to the Republican base does that organization advocate? On which gay soft porn cable show did Rudy Giuliani agree to appear in drag.

Uh, Rudy wasn't President when he dressed up in drag.

"It's a New York thing, to me Rudy dressing up in drag tells me that he's easy-going and self-confident."

NO, it's not a New York thing.

It's a charity thing and he's man enough to do it.

Ironic that you would have to ask: "Who is Duncan Hunter?"

I'm a conservative.

I don't agree with Rudy on everything, but I put the war as the number one issue (by far) and I believe Rudy can best prosecute it.

You keep saying this. Please point to the item on the chart that I "made up" and we'll discuss it.

Oh, I don't support Hunter. But he seems to be the darling of the insulated crowd on FR who still think Bush is in control of events and that the GOP just had a hiccup at the polls in 2006. Rudy is the only chance Republicans have of maintaining any hope of holding onto the presidency.
