FOX News Poll: Voters Most Comfortable With Rudy Giuliani as President

More voters say they would be comfortable with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as president than other top 2008 contenders, though majorities would also be comfortable with other leaders from both parties, according to the latest FOX News Poll. In addition, of all the 2008 hopefuls — announced or frequently mentioned as a possibility — voters want to hear more from one candidate specifically: Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

Opinion Dynamics Corporation conducted the national telephone poll of 900 registered voters for FOX News from January 30 to January 31. The poll has a 3-point error margin.

If Newt is the best chance the GOP has, then the Party might as well not run a candidate in 2008. You can't honestly believe he can win a national election.

" IMO, real men can dress in COSTUMES as women, knowing that they're secure in their own masculinity,..

Psst- Don't tell anyone, but, our own US Navy, The Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy have a time honored and elaborate Crossing the Equator Ceremony , where sailors dress ... ah, how can I say this ...in drag as part of King Neptune's Court.

http://www.law.duke.edu/shell/cite.pl?9+Duke+J.+Gender+L.+&+Pol'y+277 links to an angry feminist paper detailing the Navy ceremony.

" Another event that is crucial to the ceremony and which often occurs the day before the crossing of the equator is the "wog queen pageant."
It is ordained by Davy Jones that the best looking pollywog ( first time crossers ) shall be crowned "wog queen" and may sit on King Neptune's court -- the only wog with that privilege.
In this pageant, a group of pollywogs, usually consisting of a pollywog from each department,
is selected to participate in a fashion and talent show for the shellbacks ( crossed the equator previously ).
These male pollywogs dress as women and perform seductive or funny dances, songs or acts.
The wog who is crowned queen is the one who most convincingly portrays a woman.
Photographs of these men show a range of portrayals, wearing everything from see-through lingerie with long blond wigs and spike heels
to classy dresses and sophisticated wig styles to short skirts and ridiculously massive plastic breasts.
Almost all of the men wear large fake breasts, makeup and high heels. "

I guess anyone who has served on a Navy ship that crossed the equator or who has been a passenger on an equatorial voyage cannot run as POTUS because of pictures depicting the ceremony.

The VP at the bank we use is a social conservative through and through but today when he asked who I was supporting and found out it was Rudy he agreed that he is the only one who can beat Hillary. He went on to say that social issues take a back seat to the WOT and support for our military after 9-11. He said that as far as he is concerned and he has looked around at other candidates, Rudy is the only one who can beat Hillary so he is supporting him and so are quite a few members of his Evangelical Church.

Rudy stood with Oklahomans on April 19, 1995, and Oklahomans will stand with Rudy in 2008 -- my new motto!

"However, even out there on the Fruited Plain, among just Republicans, when told about Rudy's views on same sex civil unions and abortion rights, just 20% of Republicans say that makes him unacceptable, and another 25% say less acceptable."

Did it mention how may more vote you may lose on gun issues?

Just asking.

Oh yes, the same chart that says Hillary supports the War in Iraq. The same Hillary that just said that the President needs to end "his war" before his term ends. The same chart says the Democrats also support the War in Iraq. Joe Liberman, yes. Every other Democrat, no way! When I get some spare time I going to do some research and write up another long post like the one I've been posting recently as to why we should vote for Rudy in response to that chart.

If your asking whether or not I feel it to be inappropriate for the President of the United States to dress up like a woman my answer would be yes.

Don't worry; Hillary will continue to dress like a man after she gets elected.
